Sen. Scott Fitzgerald stalls Mining Bill, Divides Union Labor over Jobs vs Environment.

The mining bill still doesn't do enough environmentally, but tell that to a number of union members who want a job. Who cares about the ground water and environment, we have to follow the mining companies orders or, as they say, they're gone. How very Republican of them. "Mine" way or the highway.

What really doesn't set well with me is one union guys comment that takes a jab a his own supporters:
"You know sit here and sing union songs, and then you turn around and try to have a job that puts thousands of us to work, and not even materialize? I just don't get it."
WKOW and WISC Channel3000:

It's good to see the union workers down there, but they should be pressuring Republicans, not Democrats. Sen. Schultz and Jauch are looking bring more than bringing jobs to the state, especially ones that'll trash Wisconsin's water and country side.
