Public believes it's Obama Fault for high Gas Prices!!

After a decade of hybrid car sales, natural gas fleet vehicles and now all electric's hitting the showrooms, why would conservative voters push for more oil drilling?  In fact, after the Great Recession, many Americans changed their driving habits, cutting back dramatically on vacations and trips to the store. As a result, we have a surplus amount of gas in this country. We now export more that we import oil.

So how can the Republican candidates for president sell, hook-line-and-sinker, the fiction that rising gas prices have anything to do with Barack Obama? It looks like I committed an act of liberal projection when I thought conservatives would have noticed the news media reports that Obama had nothing to do with pump prices. Fox News even defended Bush once, by telling this inconvenient  proof.

Looking at the new ABC and CBS poll results, you have to conclude the GOP strategy to blame Obama for the high gas prices is working wonderfully:

The final word on this matter is included in the Rachel Maddow clip below with commodities trader, CNBC contributor and author of "Oils Endless Bid" Dan Dicker. Really, this should be it:
