Bring on the Paramilitary Armed Guards!!!! Laws don’t apply to Walker Cronies, Business interests, and Lobbyists.

This amazing response to law breaking in Wisconsin not only sets a dangerous precedent, but proves there are two sets of laws, one for citizens and one for big business interests. Walker didn't even make it seem liked they gave a crap.

Gun laws? Not for Business
jsonline-Patrick Marley: Armed security guards who were abruptly pulled from a proposed mine site in northern Wisconsin last month are now licensed.

Bulletproof Securities was briefly protecting the site, but pulled back when it became clear last month the Arizona firm had not received a license to operate in Wisconsin.
Also, the state has dismissed complaints against the security firm for operating without a license, said a statement from the department spokeswoman, Brittany Lewin. Under state law, providing security without a license can be punished with a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 and three to six months of incarceration. In addition, the Department of Safety can bar a firm from providing security services in the state for one year for failing to comply with the law.
How can a paramilitary armed group operate without a license until someone brought it to the medias attention, and not suffer the consequences? We are talking about assault weapons and camo clad troops brought in to fight protesting Wisconsinites.

The department closed out complaints against the firm for such a violation, according to Lewin's announcement Monday. Her announcement did not explain the department's rationale but said officials there had followed normal procedures.

  1. So the state just shrugs its shoulders and lets Bulletproof slip by after breaking the law? But more than 20 people singing at the Capitol at one time? GIVE EM THE CUFFS!

Proves yet again that the 21st Century GOP motto is "our rules don't apply to us." Can we get a real AG in power for 2014?

    1. Indeed. There's way too much quid pro quo here. And date the request to the day we found out about the mercenaries...BEFORE we knew they were unlicensed
