Here's MSNBC's Cenk Uygur, one of the few still covering Wisconsin (where's Ed?), taking a look at Walkerville tents, "spoiler" fake Democratic candidates, and interviews Sen. Chris Larson.
Here's an interesting question from Daily Kos about the fake candidates:
According to Wisconsin statute 12.13(3)(a), no person may file a declaration of candidacy "knowing any part is falsely made." If a candidate claims to support a party he or she does not actually support, that candidate is in violation of 12.13(3)(a).
I'm no lawyer, but I would certainly hope that there's a legal remedy to prevent such a clear and brazen plan for massive electoral fraud. It is surely that in terms of plain English. Might it also be that in the eyes of the law?
