Walker’s Vouchers expansion to the Rescue!! Wisconsin only has some of the best graduation rates in the country.

Again, counter to the Republicans prevailing truth about our schools, we are tops in graduation rates.

Don’t be misled by the recent NCLB report of failing schools. The unrealistic formula is designed to increase the failure rate to about 100 percent by 2014, when every school must be perfect, an achievement not humanly possible. Unless there’s another plan for a “master race” somewhere in the Ryan budget.

htrnews: Wisconsin has one of the highest graduation rates in the country — the highest, according to one method of calculation A report from the National Center for Education Statistics shows Wisconsin leading the nation with a graduation rate of 90.7 percent, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Wisconsin has been first or second in each of the last five years in that report, which uses the Public High School Averaged Freshman Graduation Rate from the Common Core of Data at the U.S. Department of Education, according to a news release from the DPI.
