Kapanke hoping Democratic Voters "are sleeping on July 12th." Will he Slip us a Mickey?

Sen. Dan Kapanke appeared concerned that he, Alberta Darling, and Randy Hopper stand a chance of losing their recall elections. That's of course good news to many of us. But the lust for power, and holding onto it (despite pushing an unpopular agenda), is everything. Here are a few quotes:


Kapanke: "If they gain control of the Senate, it might be over for us ... Because redistricting will play a role, as you know, and we lose that power ... From La Crosse to Prairie du Chien and to Viroqua and to Ontario and to Hillsboro, you can go on and on and on. We have to overcome that ... We've got to hope that they, kind of, are sleeping on July 12th - or whenever the (election) date is."
