The Frightening side of Dumb Ron Johnson’s Doom and Gloom Nightmare Life in America. Why can’t we all just stop hating success?

Get ready for what I like to call the “false premise.” Without it, we’re stuck with the prospect of solving real problems, and that’s too much work for Republicans.

The stammering chaotic ramblings of Dumb Ron Johnson, an astonishing electoral mistake by Wisconsin voters, makes you wonder how anyone so paralyzed with fear can’t legislate at all (he doesn't). If anything Johnson’s recent panic attack below was more an audition for the Koch brothers Americans for Prosperity, than it was about his misreading of the American economy, and his phony ‘you hate business’ outrage.

Nothing Johnson says is attached to reality. He epitomizes the prevailing "victimized millionaire" mentality.

Johnson addressed the annual Americans for Prosperity gathering in Florida over the weekend. He says he just loves that groups name, it's dear to his heart. One note Johnson simply repeats all of his greatest hits here. For me, it was like craning my neck to see an accident, and I just couldn't resist editing my favorite bullshit together. For example: Feel sorry for the guy going out of business because he didn't have the heart to fire anybody. He deserves "incentives." Johnson really did say that:

jsonline: "How did we come to a point in America where demonizing businesses, demagoguing against success rather than celebrating success, wins politically? I can guarantee you it will not produce the opportunity, the prosperity that is the heritage of this nation. It's going to destroy this nation.

So I asked a rhetorical question: How did we get to this point? Well, I know. I lived through the '60s, I've got white hair, I saw the radicals take over our university system. By the way, these aren't your garden-variety liberals that are in charge of our education system. They're the most radical.

But when you control not only your entire universities but, in particular your colleges of education, of journalism, of law, of economics, you utterly control our culture. And the Left has controlled our culture for over 50 years.

And you know what? They also have a strategy. It's been in place since FDR. It's diabolically simple, it is depressingly effective. It is addict Americans to government.
