Why even bother trying to hide it anymore....Mark Elliott on board with "Issue Education Campaign," whatever that (wink, wink) means. I don't think we need to know much more than this:

Americans for Prosperity up to Lies and misinformation in Get-out-the-Vote Mailers.
From the group that can't tell the truth about anything, Americans for Prosperity is coming on strong this election season. Like the following PolitiFact rating:
Americans for Prosperity, a conservative group, reminded voters of Walker’s support for the mine in a flier mailed to voters in early October with the headline: "Wisconsin is back to work." Next to a image of a mining helmet, the flier states: "Under the administration of Gov. Scott Walker, northern Wisconsin’s mining economy is moving forward and more people are getting good, high-paying jobs."
But that's not all either. Check out what happened in AFP's the get out the vote mailer in N. Carolina: Lots of misinformation-wrong deadlines and wrong state agency, and it was sent to the wrong people. Hey, no ones perfect. AFP officials said they will correct any mistakes...:

It's nice to have Americans for Prosperity involved in our local races, isn't it? But is it still local, or national?
After the conservative activist Supreme Court opened the billionaire money spigot, essentially tearing down our democratic republic, Racine's Journal Times had the bad timing to editorialize how wonderful it was to have the out-of-state billionaire Koch brothers Americans for Prosperity involved in out local elections:
In December every year, residents open their mail and shake their heads when they look at their tax bill. Yet for some reason, when local municipal and school board elections come around in the spring, people seem to forget … to vote, meaning they don’t care enough to even bother.
Here’s the fun part. The editorial complained about how low the
turnout was this time around, which went against the point they’re
making about how great it was for Americans for Prosperity to help turn out
voters:
For instance, in Racine County in Tuesday’s election, only 13,193 people cast ballots out of 111,593 registered voters … That is just under 12 percent and pretty pathetic."12 percent and pretty pathetic." Still, you gotta love out-of-state groups telling people how to vote:
Because of that selective memory we all have, it’s not a bad thing when you hear about groups like Americans for Prosperity coming into the area and reminding people to vote in local elections, specifically the school board election in Kenosha.
If groups like Americans for Prosperity can help create more awareness for the issues and turn out more voters, then more power to them or any other group trying, as long as they are willing to disclose who they are.Within the body of the editorial, they also compared the Koch’s involvement in Kenosha to how the unions came into Wisconsin after Act 10 was passed. Hmm, but that wasn't an election was it. And if they want to point to the union involvement in the recall election, that was just to keep up with outside money pouring into Walker’s campaign coffers prior to even selecting Tom Barrett.

Americans for Prosperity's Stefano filibusters, plays victimized woman card after getting ObamaCare Facts Wrong!!!
In what was an apparent ploy to appear ambushed by nice guy Chris Hayes, Americans for Prosperity's blathering BSer Jenifer Stefano tried to create a liberal "war on women" moment.
Pushing her not stop load of crap on Hayes, who tried and failed to get a straight answer, Stefano came across like a bad prankster fulfilling a bet she made in a bar.
This is the best the Koch brothers could find to debate skipping the purchase of health care coverage?
The one glaring moment that actually shocked Hayes, was Stefano's claim that Medicaid recipients at the 130 percent of poverty mark could make up to $94,000 a year income. She of course was confusing the income ceiling for receiving the tax credit in the exchanges for a typical family plan. She really thought poverty level families made up to $94,000. This AFP stooge even repeated it over and over.
But in the tea party world, directed by the Koch's through Americans for Prosperity, that's what passes for "giving facts," as she put it. When asked about why she feigned concern for those in poverty when she really just wants to just kill ObamaCare...:

Facts, like people in poverty making $94,000 a year? My guess is she's now a real hero, despite losing her argument by declaring her victimhood for the whole nation to see. What a pathetic display of ignorance. And by the way, was she kidding about being raised in a trailer park?Stefano: "You know nothing about me...you have no idea why I wake up in the morning..."
Hayes: "No, we've talked before."
Stefano: "You don't know what I fight for, and believe in. You know nothing about me, you know nothing about my family. You don't know if I was born and raised in a trailer park. You don't know what I did. How dare you, like Harry Reid, undercut the voice of a woman simply because she disagrees with you. Now you may not like where I'm coming from on public policy, but you have no right to undercut my voice. As a woman I've worked very hard to take on the Republicans...
Hayes: "I've put you on my TV show, I'm not undercutting your voice."
Stefano: "You are undercutting my voice to make it personal, saying I wake up to do this...you have no idea about me or my life. I don't care. This is what I want, stick to the facts. STICK TO THE FACTS. Talk about facts logic and reason. How dare you personally attack me and what I believe in. Typical, because you can't win, unfortunate..."
Here are a few relevant comments:
#1 What Stefano is doing is called the Gish Gallop. The Gish Gallop is the debating technique of drowning the opponent in such a torrent of half-truths, lies, and straw-man arguments that the opponent cannot possibly answer every falsehood in real time. Sam Harris describes the technique as "starting 10 fires in 10 minutes." She has this technique down to a science. She had not a single truthful coherent statement during the whole entire segment.
#2 In formal debate, it is also refered to as Argument by Verbosity and/or Shotgun Argumentation... and for reasons of falatious argumentation would have been shut-down immediately. Hayes was far more patient than a I would have been. She is a disgusting piece of work...

Scott Walker, Americans for Prosperity, Tea Party, Glenn Beck’s 9/12ers reshaped Wisconsin into what it is today and will be tomorrow!!!
RNC Chair Reince Priebus:
“How did we do it in Wisconsin? The simplest way I can tell you is we had total and complete unity between the state party, quite frankly, Americans for Prosperity, the Tea Party groups, the Grandsons of Liberty. The (Glenn Beck-instigated) 9/12ers were involved. It was a total and complete agreement that nobody cared who got the credit, that everyone was going to run down the tracks together.”
Yes, Reince is back in our world again to prank and cause political mischief. The only way to stop him was revealed in this Onion article:

Walker John Doe investigating Republican Governors Association, Club for Growth and Americans for Prosperity. Victims of Democratic DA?
Republican special interests would never do anything wrong, ever. So it must be a big surprise to the groups mentioned in the title that their participation in electing and reelecting Scott Walker might have been illegal. Like the Supreme Court recently declared, money does not corrupt...so what's up?

Jack Craver-Cap Times: A conservative news website is reporting that right-wing organizations are the target of a new John Doe probe launched by the Milwaukee County district attorney.
"For the second time in three and a half years, a Democrat District Attorney of Milwaukee County has launched a secret investigation into conservatives, with the apparent goal of bringing down Gov. Scott Walker," writes Wisconsin ReporterTargeted organizations include the Republican Governors Association, the Club for Growth and Americans for Prosperity, a group largely financed by Charles and David Koch … for alleged campaign finance law violations, likely in connection with efforts that benefited Gov. Scott Walker or legislative Republicans … according to what sources are telling WR, the potential violations in Wisconsin focus on employees of organizations such as Americans for Prosperity, which are supposed to be nonpartisan, assisting Republican campaigns.

The Frightening side of Dumb Ron Johnson’s Doom and Gloom Nightmare Life in America. Why can’t we all just stop hating success?
Get ready for what I like to call the “false premise.”
Without it, we’re stuck with the prospect of solving real problems, and that’s too much work for Republicans.
The stammering chaotic ramblings of Dumb Ron Johnson, an
astonishing electoral mistake by Wisconsin voters, makes you wonder how anyone
so paralyzed with fear can’t legislate at all (he doesn't). If anything Johnson’s
recent panic attack below was more an audition for the Koch brothers Americans
for Prosperity, than it was about his misreading of the American economy, and
his phony ‘you hate business’ outrage.
Nothing Johnson says is attached to reality. He epitomizes the prevailing "victimized millionaire" mentality.
Johnson addressed the
annual Americans for Prosperity gathering in
Florida over the weekend. He says he just loves that groups name, it's dear to his heart. One note Johnson simply repeats all of his greatest hits here. For me, it was like craning my neck to see an accident, and I just couldn't resist editing my favorite bullshit together. For example: Feel sorry for the guy going out of business because he didn't have the heart to fire anybody. He deserves "incentives." Johnson really did say that:
jsonline: "How did we come to a point in America where demonizing businesses, demagoguing against success rather than celebrating success, wins politically? I can guarantee you it will not produce the opportunity, the prosperity that is the heritage of this nation. It's going to destroy this nation.
So I asked a rhetorical question: How did we get to this point? Well, I know. I lived through the '60s, I've got white hair, I saw the radicals take over our university system. By the way, these aren't your garden-variety liberals that are in charge of our education system. They're the most radical.
But when you control not only your entire universities but, in particular your colleges of education, of journalism, of law, of economics, you utterly control our culture. And the Left has controlled our culture for over 50 years.
And you know what? They also have a strategy. It's been in place since FDR. It's diabolically simple, it is depressingly effective. It is addict Americans to government.

Out-of-State Americans for Prosperity pushing Vouchers in Wisconsin.
Giving up the disguise of using local groups for cover, and going right for the throat of public education, the Koch brothers Americans for Prosperity bused themselves into the state on a quest to sell vouchers to Beloit and Kenosha parents who don't want them.
Again, Americans for Prosperity is now openly peddling its out-of-state agenda in Wisconsin.
Amazing!!! Rock Valley Educational Professionals hopes the truth about vouchers, as explained the in the Channel3000 story below, short circuits the AFP message of division and privatization.
