Really Dumb, completely False Comment of the Day from Sen. Mitch McConnell.

No wonder conservative voters are so misinformed; their politicians don't even provide a shred of truth in anything they say:
jsonline: Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell: "Jacking up our constituents' health care costs is bad enough, but to try to then convince them the opposite is happening - that they've actually won some Publishers Clearinghouse sweepstakes, well, it's just as absurd as it sounds," the Kentucky senator said on the floor of the Senate.
Lie 1: The new Marketplace premiums will be lower for most people, especially if you're getting a health care subsidy.

Lie 2:  "trying to convince them the opposite is happening..." is the opposite of what's happening.

Lie 3: Has anyone said they've "won some Publishers Clearinghouse sweepstakes...?"

If you think about it, McConnell wasn't lying when he concluded "it's just as absurd as it sounds." Boy, ain't that the truth.
