This part of the Gov. Chris Christie story, appointing a Republican to take a Democratic seat, is not getting any attention...until now.
On WPR's morning show, host Joy Cardin asked Dan Kapanke (kuh-PANG-kee), former Republican State Senator
from La Crosse, if Christie did the right thing; of course he agreed without hesitation.
Thankfully, Kathleen Falk, former Dane County Executive, pushed back asking Kapanke why that was fair when the will of the people elected a Democrat to that seat. Republicans would have been screaming bloody murder if a Democratic governor pulled a similar stunt:
