Simac running on "less paperwork." Isn't it better the state doesn't know what business is doing?

Kim Simac is proud of her north woods sensibilities, simple life, and her tea party misinterpretation of the Constitution. As a small business person, she knows the nightmare of keeping books, paying bills and government regulations that may overwhelm a few individuals to cheap to hire somebody to handle the paperwork.  Simac whines about her son, the logger. Poor guy has to fill out paper work to manage the industry, instead of just...logging to his hearts content.

Simac blames our state regulations for the loss of over 150,000 jobs. I'm thinking it might have had something to do with the Great Recession or "free trade" policies that destroyed this and other states manufacturing base. If only we could be like China, like Ron Johnson laments all the time, and get rid of all that paperwork.

Large multinational corporations would love to live that north woods simple life. Sigh, maybe someday.
