I jumped out of my chair when I saw the beginning of this Prosser ad. After all the effort people and their families went through to voice their anger and frustration with government, protesting over a month at the Capitol, Prosser's supporters asks "Take a moment to look past the noise...!"
Jeff Mayers from Wispolitics.com analyzes the partisan nature of the Kloppenburg/Prosser race, stating matter-of-factly how conservative talk radio can help in the surrounding Milwaukee communities. How normal is that? In a Democratic blue collar Milwaukee market, there isn't one liberal talk radio host. In the old days, stations would have their license challenged for not reflecting the community standards test.
maybe the union thugs should determine who is on the radio. and if no one listens, they can demand a bailout. obama would oblige. then we could have AM NPR
ReplyDeleteOpen your eyes, man. Radio is the last bastion of pure capitalism. It reflects what the majority of listeners want. Those shows which are popular get the most advertising sales; those that don't produce are removed for those that do. The only way liberals get a voice on radio is when the government interferes with things and forces a liberal show to stay on the air, often by paying for it with tax dollars taken from the people WHO DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the silent majority around Madison isn't as liberal as you think, once you remove the people on the public payroll.
It even works with blogs. I read a lot of opposing views, which throws the leftists. I got threatened by some bozo in Ohio for having the nerve to post on "their" blog, so I thanked him for his commitment to diversity and for helping to promote civility. I'm just glad the government can't force people to read that which they don't want to read (yet).
