Racine "Militia Man" arrested in Chicago, tells whopper of Story.

The NATO protests in Chicago resulted in the arrest this bizarre, incredibly unbelievable guy. I mean really, he's NOT believable, but we might never know what he really planned.

In a WTF kinda moment, still, this report is just a whole lot of fun to watch, from TMJ4:

Michael Yocco says his arrest is a misunderstanding.

He claims he was in Chicago to simply observe. Police, though, are telling a different story. They're describing Yocco as a militia man.

"It's just outrageous what happened," Yucco says.

The Racine man says he went to watch the protests of the NATO summit. But, police arrested him after they found a bag of ammunition, clips and even a bayonet in his car. Yocco claims he forgot he had the ammunition in his car. He didn't have a gun. Police say he was dressed in militia gear. Yocco calls it a security outfit.

"No militia men," Yocco says. "That's ridiculous."

His car also had anarchist flags on hit, according to police. As for the gas mask, Yocco says there's an explanation for that.
This is my favorite line:
"I think it's a good idea for every American to have something like that in their car, it's just protocol, especially in bigger cities cause you don't know what's going to happen," Yocco says.

Police eventually released him on signature bond.
