Tort Reform artificially manipulates market, over regulates private sector practice of law. That's small government?

According to Republicans, only parts of the Constitution are important. One part that isn't is the Seventh Amendment, because that part destroys jobs and gets in the way of business "freedom" to create bad products and services.

Seventh Amendment – Civil trial by jury. In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

This is the decade of "The Job Creators," after all. WKOW 27 News:

This is the agenda of the Walker administration. If union busting at the expense of education didn't trip your trigger, maybe doing away with your 7th Amendment right will make the difference.

  1. You are absolutely correct; what hypocrites! Smaller government, but government in your bedroom (abortion). Smaller government, but government in our courtrooms (tort reform). Smaller government, but let's commence three overseas military campaigns overseas at a cost of over a TRILLION DOLLARS. And these guys call themselves constitutional conservatives? What a joke!
