New Rules for Capitol Protests Let’s Lobbyists Off the Hook

Don’t protesters “lobby” their lawmakers for change, just like corporations and other special interests lobby legislators? No, according to the Walker administration, who just made it very clear who gets to lobby the government over policy, and who gets to controls it.

In a ballsy admission, lobbyists get a pass:
WKOW: A new policy requiring a permit to hold a rally inside the Capitol begins Monday. Revisions have been made, which clarifies that families and lobbyists would not need a permit. But groups of four that stage events inside the Capitol will have to get a permit.
This of course is all beside the point, since Walker’s restrictions are forbidden by the federal and state constitutions. Where are the lawsuits?
