Recall Update: While Republicans whine about the cost of recalls and democracy, they're planning to go after Democrats.

While Rep. Robin Vos attempts to sell the idea that democracy is too expensive and that the recall process is out of control, guess what, Republicans are putting together the recall of 3 or 4 Democrats.

Sell that one Vos. You’ve got to wonder if Vos and the Sen. Scott Fitzgerald are on the same page.
jsonline: Asked about trying to recall Democratic senators, Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) this week said, "I haven't ruled it out, that's for sure." He said he would consider seeking to recall nearly all of the Democrats who are eligible. He called Sen. Kathleen Vinehout (D-Alma) the most vulnerable and said Sen. Julie Lassa (D-Stevens Point) was a likely target. Republicans tried to recall Lassa this year but did not garner enough signatures. Fitzgerald raised the possibility of going after Senate Minority Leader Mark Miller (D-Monona). "It's all about resources," Fitzgerald said. "It's about making people spend money where they don't have to. That's what this game has boiled down to."

Game? It’s just the opposite for Democrats,; policy and protecting the middle class, and nothing else.
Democrats are targeting three Republicans for recall - Sens. Pam Galloway of Wausau, Terry Moulton of Chippewa Falls and Van Wanggaard of Racine - but they said they could go after others as well.
