Big turnout!! TMJ 4 and CBS 58 were there covering the event, and the Occupy Wall Street protests proved people do get it, they are fed up, and they're tired of having their backs to the wall.
Some of their comments are below...
"These are intelligent people, smart people, teachers, union members, this is America right here," Michael Eells, a protester, said. "They are outraged at cuts for the rich and making the poor pay it."
The mass of people marched to the Chase and M&I banks downtown where they voiced concerned over what's happening in the United States and the rest of the world.
"It shows people are fed up with how things are operating now and there has to be change in how politics work," Milwaukee Alderman Ashanti Hamilton added.
The protest was held as part of the "Global Protest" around the world, but unlike other rallies, there was no violence at "Occupy Milwaukee".
