It's painfully obvious Republicans are waiting it out until 2012's elections, before they'll do anything about the economy. Even then their agenda hasn't changed in decades. The odds are in their favor too, since statistically, incumbents are voted out during hard times no matter what their approval ratings.
The GOP has thrown the underemployed, and unemployed, under the bus for power.
The shocking part of their plan is that it's the same one that got us into this mess;
SheboyganPress: Senate Republicans introduced legislation aimed at creating jobs by overhauling the nation's tax laws, cutting business rules and boosting offshore oil exploration. The GOP plan calls for repealing Obama's health care law and passing a constitutional amendment requiring a balanced budget.
The GOP bill is called the "Jobs Through Growth Act" and doesn't include a single item in President Barack Obama's jobs legislation, which Senate Republicans killed in a Tuesday night vote.
