High Def Flat Panel Fireplace?

An admission; I'm still a member of Sam's Club. I'm also a member of Costco, a slightly more liberal place to shop too.

I love technology and the wild and wacky products birthed from the minds of the insane. Like this item at Sam's:

I think it actually creates heat, but I'm not sure how. I video taped the floor sample to prove I'm not making this up.
