Vigilante Tea Party "Verify the Recall" loses seat at Walker's Recount Table, GAB says.

The GAB has finally come out declaring that no outside groups will not be able to influence or help check the signatures on the Walker recall petitions. They can still vilify the process, make spurious allegation, scream fraud and cast a permanent cloud over the legal state process, but their "analysis" won't count. From Fox 6 in Milwaukee:

Two tea party groups are considering a lawsuit against the Wisconsin elections board over its decision not to accept any evidence they find of fraud in petitions seeking the recall of Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

“What we’re providing is a way for citizens to be involved,” said Larry Gamble, a member of the Tea Party Group, The GrandSons of Liberty.  “13,000 Wisconsinites and people from around the country have joined in this effort.”

The Government Accountability Board on Tuesday agreed that the law only allowed for it to consider rejecting signatures based on evidence brought forward by its staff or the targeted office holders. Board director Kevin Kennedy says there is no process in place for accepting information from outside groups and individuals.

“It’s like a court,” Kennedy said.  “You don’t allow people to just walk in and say, I’ve got additional evidence. You want to have certain procedures in place for that. These are procedures that the legislature has approved.”

  1. So, the government accountability board of appointees is indicating that a legal voting citizen or group does not have the right or standing to question and challenge the validity or accuracy of a purported "vote" or "petition/redress" of government other than the "servant" of the people directly involved in addition to fact public funds and resources are being utilized.

  2. Yes. So you don't trust Scott Walker's challenge?

You would have every one and any one involved in the count, because we...don't have a representative government? Walker's checking the signatures...think he'll go easy?

If you guys had your way, we wouldn't need laws or government anymore, just some kangaroo court set up someplace.

I have to say, you people are sounding crazier and more desperate everyday. I think Bush had you guys right, it would be nice if it were just a dictatorship, and you were the dictators.
