Republicans to Raise the Business Cost of Employee Health Care, and will later blame Obamacare. Oops, we weren't supposed to know?

Making any kind of Medicare concession it completely out of the question for me, and polls overwhelmingly agree. Yet despite the outrageous amount of extra spending by business and seniors, Republicans have to follow through on a wet dream of theirs; kill Medicare, not matter how much more it might cost taxpayers and businesses out of pocket.

  1. Thanks for the kind words, but to be clear I am not an economist, but a journalist who writes on economics.

  2. Noted. Corrected for future reference, and thanks for clearly explaining the economic consequences of conservative policy with Ed and others. It's not like you haven't been warning us for years...we can only hope Americans will finally catch on.
