Free Voter ID? You just have to ask, says Walker who backs the voter suppression ploy.

Part of our new found “Walker freedom” in Wisconsin is our freedom from knowing what’s free.
That particular freedom is guaranteed in our voter ID law now, as a way to keep the uninformed...uninformed.
Wisconsin Department of Transportation: "While you should certainly help customers who come in asking for a free ID to check the appropriate box, you should refrain from offering the free version to customers who do not ask for it." TheNorthwestern: Expecting a citizen to be fully aware of all of their options information beforehand is unreasonable at best, especially for brand new provisions. At worse, to expressly withhold that information is voter suppression.

The only ones who don’t get it, or feign ignorance and surprise over the issue, are our Republican friends. As the administration restores confidence (in conservative voters whoknow their party will win elections due to voter suppression) in our electoral process, Walker relishes the implementation of the voter ID deception.
