Herman Cain was asked once what happens to Social Security and Medicare if the only tax people pay is just 9 percent. His quick mumbled answer was that people needed to have some skin in the game. Or buy your own! It would also mean a tax increase for the working poor, who now don't pay any federal tax.
It's like interviewers in the media don't live average American lives like the rest of us! We know this stuff. Fox News' Chris Wallace made the right analysis and asked the right questions, but never gets around to asking those important follow-ups.
And Cain was once a former corporate CEO. THESE are the job creators?
