While Scott Walker's henchmen in the state legislature work to cut Milwaukee Counties Board in half and reduce its size, all the while trying to repeal residency rules, Walker is now playfully trying to screw up the legal system in Dane County.
Walker's first temper tantrum came in the form of his refusal to appoint replacement judges, because it wasn't certain they could win. Is any election like that? Don't answer that.
After an uproar, he relented a little by suggesting the placement of retired judges or attorneys in those open judge seats. Walker claimed no one would want to take a judge position knowing they might not get elected when they finally had to run. But isn't that how elections work?
