The courage and leadership it takes to control other peoples lives is a heavy burden for many Republicans. It often times exposes them to criticism...oops, I'm mean name-calling, over their questionable big government policies.
Case in point: Oklahoma State Sen. Constance Johnson introduced a law that outlaws the depositing of sperm anywhere other than in a woman's vagina. Enter Republican hypocrite State Sen. Ralph Shortley, who when questioned about the law, started using the same language abortion rights supporters have been using for decades. He never made the connection. Using the slippery slope theory, nothing is conceivably off limits to Republican attacks.
