The old timers were wheeled in on Americans for Prosperity buses, so they could save gas or wouldn't have to go through all the trouble of driving themselves. Boy, real self reliant bootstrap kinda individualists.
The fact that these phony once a year patriots, numbering in the hundreds, don't feel any guilt being funded by outside big moneyed interests says it all for me. What an amazing embarrassment, and what a show of AFP seniors.
You'll notice the liberals who showed up never once said that protesting was a waste of time, thug like or a show of sore losers. They were just glad to see people speaking their minds, even if they were Walker supporters. Kinda makes you wonder what they had up their sleeves, doesn't it?
I was at both this rally and last year's rally as well. I estimated last year's crowd at about 1000 and this year's 400-700. The larger crowd numbers don't agree with the numbers I saw. The counter-protesters which outnumbered the crowd last year by at least 10 to 1 were a small group this year; less than 100. Much nicer weather this year than last! Very little talk of taxes which surprised me.
