Rep. Robin Vos threatens safety of state citizens who signed recalls petitions.

This amazing threat to Wisconsinites by Rep. Robin Vos, and dog whistle call to Walker thugs, needs a big explanation. This "we'll know who you are" sociopathic behavior is starting to spook the public in a very bad way.

I don't know about you, but I don't need some whack job Walker thug at my door asking if I'm who I say I am. Maybe we should have a data base of Walker voters, their ballots, so I can ask them why they voted for 5 months of job losses, taxpayer money give-a-ways to big business...etc.

Is anybody watching these brownshirted thugs at the Capitol? Holy crap. Here's part of Vos' letter to the GAB:

Clarification: As one person commented here, the recall petitions are available online. The GAB scans them in and presents the online pdf's to challengers and the public. What I am objecting to here is Vos' irresponsible suggestion the public take part in investigating neighbors with possible roving Walker thugs. This is clearly political intimidation.

  1. I don't believe I want my name and address info passed on to the Republican party to act upon as they wish!

  3. All that stuff is public info anyway. It always has been before Vos bitched about it. Go to the GAB website, and everyone who signed a recall petition in the last round of recalls, has their John Hancock, and Street address on there for anyone to see anyway. What more does he want?????

  4. If Robin Vos has his way, this is very similar to casting a vote. Soon they will want to eliminate secret ballot, a move that totalitarian governments make in preparation for seizing control of the government. Disenfranchisement, voter disclosure, harassment of those who do not believe as you believe, the Republicans are marching us down this path already.

  6. The difference this time is the petition names would be posted to try an weed out the fakes via the help of citizen thugs. Vos' message is point blank inciting people.

Vos wouldn't have made the request unless something was different.

That's what this is all about. Posting the names after the GAB approval is fine.

  7. Sorsoleil: My reference to having Walker voters addresses is as you point out, the next step. Posting opposition party names for who knows what purposes is not as far fetch now is it?
