As you can see by the bottom right picture, the big event...wasn't. More protesters can be seen than Walker Tea Party supporters. The article here said 300, but really, come on.
Hudson Patch: More than 300 turned out to Hudson's Lakefront Park bandshell for the Tea Party rally Friday afternoon, including more than 100 opposition protesters turned out Friday to disrupt the arrival of the bus tour at the Hudson Band Shell in Lakefront Park shortly after noon, shouting and jeering throughout the presentations of nearly a dozen speakers. Featuring musical acts and speeches by several Tea Party leaders, the Tea Party Express is a national bus tour traveling across the state of Wisconsin Protesters chanted and jeered the speakers throughout the presentations shouting "Go home" throughout the hour-and-a-half rally and, at one point even began chanting "Racist."Check out all the photos: Freelance photographer Keith Crowley has posted a photo gallery of more than 40 photos from today's rally and demonstration. Responding specifically to shouts of "Go home," by several protesters off stage, Judson Phillips, founder of Tea Party Nation, responded to the audience: "These people probably come from a trailer park because they don't have real jobs," he said. "Why don't you go home?"
Hudson Police Officer Geoff Willems told Patch We had some cookies thrown and some cameras pushed away, but that was about it."
Tea party trailer trash. Pure and simple. They don't want to buy health insurance, live off previous generations of infrastructure, and force their kids to pay for their retirement (since the social safety nets won't exist)
ReplyDeleteOh, they're as smart and racist as you.
So now you justify slandering those who disagree with you? Does living in a trailer make them less human than you? Does it justify you making up lies about them? Why don't you mention the welfare class who does the exact same thing as we speak?
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you got fired and can't get work at any radio station in your libsoc paradise. That has to sting.
Oh my. The tea party itself referred to themselves as trailer park individuals. Slander? Tea Party leaders referred to liberals as Nazi's while they made the rounds. Nice compliment.
ReplyDeleteThey didn't say "trash," but they brought it up, so I took off on it. I don't have anything against people who live in trailers generally, just the ones in those trashed out neighborhoods. In fact, there are hundreds of trailer trash web sits, touting their beauty and history.
Finally, I have no respect for them, none. They started as a group who wanted a global depression by denying the too big to fail banks to be bailed out (I didn't like it either..but), then they protested against saving peoples live opposing health care for all and believing falsely there were death panels and their comment "Get your government hands off my Medicare," they're racist and simpletons willing to give our country over to the private sector. They also want to privatize public schools. They were willing to tank the American economy with the phony issue of the debt ceiling. Fake stuff fools them every time. They're not smart or clued in.
These are tragically dumb destructive people with no brain.
Trailer trash is this weeks description, I'll come up with a few more...
Not many people have respect for you either.
