Besides the often repeated insult that public anger in Wisconsin is somehow imported from out of state (aarrrr), Harsdorf brags:
Harsdorf: "What you're seeing now is a deep philosophical difference, and we have enacted MAJOR changes in how government operates. And, there's...there's, change is tough...I firmly believe, and I think we're beginning to see it, that as these reforms are implemented, people are going to see the benefits..."Amazing, isn't it? The arrogance of the Republican Party to think that a total conversion of our government to their ideological vision would be just fine for the other 2/3 of the states citizens. Why would anyone be pissed off?
Some numbers for the math challenged and unemployed:
ReplyDelete59-40
19-14
That would be nearly 60% of Wisconsin that voted to have Republican representation.
As your messiah said, you can ride along but you're going to have to sit in the back. Democrats have a long history of forcing people they don't like to sit in the back.
I have no idea what your numbers refer too. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteOn that note, about 48 or 49 percent of eligible Wisconsin citizens voted. Split that in half, slightly favoring Scott Walker, and you see that about a quarter of Wisconsinites voted in the Republican Party.
Doesn't sound like an overwhelming mandate, no matter what party wins.
So my math was wrong in that I gave way to many votes to Republicans.
You racist reversal and misinterpretation of Obama's line is pathetic.
Dear Dummy No Jobby,
ReplyDeleteThe 59-40 refers to the advantage Republicans have in the Wisconsin Assembly, and the 19-14 is the same advantage in the Wisconsin Senate. At nearly 60%, this is a far larger margin than what the moron received in the 2008 Presidential Election.
These are facts. You are extrapolating the 51% who didn't vote are automatically against conservatism and having Republicans govern.
Deal with it, Dummy No Jobby.
Yes, "You are extrapolating the 51% who didn't vote are automatically against conservatism and having Republicans govern," that's what I'm saying.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know, they're Walker's silent majority. You're not good at making your argument. But nice try.
Weird, another liberal playing the race card to protect PBO.
