Republicans attack Dodd-Frank, want a return to inflated commodities profit taking on the backs of the gas buying public.

For the Tea Party and Republican Party, if it's not spelled out in the constitution it isn't legal, even though the constitution is merely a framework, and not a detailed list of rights.

With that in mind, gas prices at the pump would not be as high as they are now if Dodd-Frank had been allowed to oversee the commodities market. So as you might have guessed, Republicans have gone after Dodd-Frank as unconstitutional, and call it a liberal overreach. Check out the ad Rachel Maddow includes in her look at the attempt by Republicans to return Wall Street to its risky past.
