Authoritarian Republicans just aren't getting the kind of respect they should from the sexually harassed women in their past. But it's not just the GOP presidential contenders long list of targets coming to the surface, its more about what happens to enemies of the conservative political elite. To any other women thinking about coming forward, "they should think twice." That doesn't bode well for anything else Cain is tired of dealing with. Rachel Maddow:

I just talked to my conservative friend in Milwaukee, who snickered and verbally jabbed me over Herman Cain's sexual harassment charges. He's now firmly behind Cain. Why? He said if Democrats can do it, sexual stuff, so can Cain. It's also a liberal media fabrication, even though Cain's campaign blamed Perry's campaign. Reality was never my gun carrying friends strong suit.

So imagine my surprise, kinda, when I saw this report on MSNBC about the massive amounts of money and support the right wing is giving Cain now. My friend fell right in line with his fellow sheeple.

Illegal Campaign Funding for Herman Cain came to light via Journal Sentinel reporter Dan Bice.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Dan Bice got some airtime with Rachel Maddow last night for his research on the Herman Cain campaign, and possible funding violations.

Cain's Wisconsin Campaign Aides Flaunt Campaign and Federal Tax Laws.

Herman Cain may soon have a big problem, thanks to two operatives from Wisconsin, who may have broken federal tax and campaign laws. 

jsonline-Dan Bice: Herman Cain's two top campaign aides ran a private Wisconsin-based corporation that helped the GOP presidential candidate get his fledgling campaign off the ground by originally footing the bill for tens of thousands of dollars in expenses for such items as iPads, chartered flights and travel to Iowa and Las Vegas - something that might breach federal tax and campaign law, according to sources and documents. Internal financial records obtained by No Quarter show that Prosperity USA said it was owed about $40,000 by the Cain campaign for a variety of items in February and March.

Prosperity USA was owned and run by Wisconsin political operatives Mark Block and Linda Hansen, Cain's current chief of staff and deputy chief of staff, respectively.

Election law experts say the transactions raise a host of questions for the private organization, which billed itself as a tax-exempt nonprofit, and the Cain team. "If the records accurately reflect what occurred, this is way out of bounds," said a Washington, D.C.-based election lawyer who advises many Republican candidates and conservative groups on campaign issues.

Michael Maistelman, a Wisconsin campaign attorney, agreed. "The number of questionable and possibly illegal transactions conducted on behalf of Herman Cain is staggering."

Block … is best known in the state for his role as campaign manager (and being) Accused of election law violations, Block settled the case by agreeing to pay a $15,000 fine and to stay out of Wisconsin politics for three years. Block ran the state chapter of Americans for Prosperity, a nonprofit cofounded by the conservative Koch brothers. It was through Americans for Prosperity that Block met Cain and encouraged him to run for national office. 

The Racist Cain ad gets a media pass.

I've watch coverage of the racist ad below put out by the Cain campaign, and thought at least someone would say what it is, with no luck.

The fact that Herman Cain can perpetuate black stereotypes, and show an outspoken black liberal get beat up, is so outrageously racist and disconnected from reality that I'm stunned no ones brought it up.

Apples and Oranges Tax Policy!!! Is Cain the right wings Comic Relief?

Shame on the press for ever allowing the insanity of Herman Cain's plan 9-9-9 from outer space argument gain any real credibility in the first place.

This back and forth between Cain and Mitt Romney about "mixing apples and oranges" should tell you everything you needed to know about conservative economics.

Debate Crowd Cheers Cain Bashing Occupy Protesters, Ron Paul Defends them as Victims.

Looks like the press has decided to ignore Ron Paul's follow-up answer to Herman Cain's insult to Occupy Wall Street demonstrators.

Here's the disgusting crowd applause over Cain's rip into the Occupy movement that blames those poor defenseless Wall Street banks. These are the same banks that gave birth to the tea party, when they protested the taxpayer bail outs.



Here's what the media didn't want you to see in their analysis; Ron Paul back handing the knuckle dragging crowds applause, for supporting Cain's "blame the victim" statement:



Paul's overall statement is right on the money, despite the few wacky libertarian theories tossed in for effect. The crowd went suddenly quiet. Later, Cain admits he doesn't get it and still wonders what the protesters want on Wall Street. Paul gets at least some reaction defending the middle class.

Herman Cain is an unfiltered representation of the modern day tea party conservative. Cain says what every conservative is thinking, offering a glimpse at what I can only assume is a precursor to hunting liberals down and locking 'em up.



Cain reaffirms every stereotype fabricated about Democrats and minorities by white racists everywhere. Is it really any accident Republicans have swiftly put in place voter suppression laws, right to kill laws and one party corporate ownership of our country?

Cain asked Clinton to exempt businesses from providing health care to employees, oversaw Enron like trading and was fined!!

Herman Cain is a flash in the pan, and probably won’t be the candidate chosen by the Republican Tea Party.

So I have my reservations about spending so much time exposing this huckster. It’s insulting to treat this carnival show like the real thing. Aside from his idiotic tax plan, he’s got a few rotting bodies in the closet only a tea party zombie could love:

We were first introduced to Cain’s economic world view in 1993, when as chief executive of Godfather’s Pizza he stood up at a nationally televised town meeting and told then-President Bill Clinton that requiring employers to offer health insurance to their workers would force businesses like his to eliminate large numbers of jobs.

If Cain is the perfect Republican candidate for 2012, then Godfather’s Pizza is the perfect metaphor for the winner-take-all economy envisioned by today’s uncompassionate conservatives: a highly-leveraged management buyout that made fortunes for top executives and big franchise owners by closing stores, hiring mostly minimum-wage employees with no health or retirement benefits, and relying on slick TV ads to peddle an unhealthy and mediocre product.

When he wasn’t fighting to deny pay raises and health insurance to the working poor, Cain was also busy serving on corporate boards, including Aquilar. Aquilar was once a sleepy electric-power company that, while Cain was on the board, followed Enron into the wholesale energy-trading business. Like Enron, it got nailed for trying to manipulate trading in natural gas and paid a fine of $26.5 million. Curiously, Cain never mentions his experience at Aquilar when demanding repeal of those onerous post-Enron regulations that require directors to adopt better systems for internal control.

That’s the kind of leadership we want to see in the White House, or anywhere for that matter? 

Suffering Fools like Cain. How long will the press keep treating 9-9-9 like a real plan?

Herman Cain’s 999 plan is a complete joke, a bad one at that. The unsuspecting public would be shocked when they have to shell out a 15 to 20 percent sales taxes (Cain's 9% plus state sales tax), on top of finding extra cash from their pay checks to fund their own private versions of Social Security and Medicare. Good luck with that. Employers will save 7 percent, their portion of the payroll tax and not raise your wages, while employees will go from their portion, 7 percent, to Cain's 9. What a deal.

The tax doesn't apply to used items, like cars and houses, but no one in the media wants to mention how demand for tax-less items will artificially increase the price of everything that is used to black market levels.

The rich on the other hand will receive a huge tax cut, corporate and personal, under a very regressive tax system.

This is a plan Cain admits doesn’t deal with many of his plans flaws, where tens of millions of people will be adversely affected, with no safety nets. They have nobody but themselves to blame for not being rich.

But detailed planning means higher page counts to legislation, a no-no in conservative circles.

Here’s a list of names to remember as having blown their credibility 100 percent by backing Cain’s simplistic and deadly tax plan:

House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan and Ronald Reagan’s economic guru Art Laffer both expressed their support for the plan to replace the current tax code. (Ryan) did not endorse the plan, but praised it saying he loved “specific and credible” proposals.

The anti-tax Club for Growth also came out in favor of Cain’s plan.

More equivocal support came from Douglas Holtz-Eakin, the former director of the Congressional Budget Office who advised John McCain. “I don’t think it’s dramatically out of line with reality,” he told Bloomberg.

What is it about Republicans who recycle the trash with employment decisions that would only make them look bad? 

Herman Cain recycled trash by hiring Mark Block, his chief of staff.

Did you know that Cain's chief of staff is none other than Mark Block, former head of Wisconsin chapter of Americans for Prosperity?

Block was fined $15,000 and banned from Wisconsin political campaigns for three years, from 2001 to 2004, after being accused of violating election laws in 1997 as the campaign manager to state Supreme Court Justice Jon P. Wilcox.

Cain's Iron Fisted Capitalism establishes new American Royalty.

Herman Cain may not end up as a presidential candidate, but he is a fascinating example of conservatism.

There are so many errors in Cain's thinking in the video below, it's would take two blog posts to cover them all. Let's just say that if you base policy on trumped up conspiracy theories and absolute bullshit, the end result would be less than desirable.

Cain can call citizen protests "un-American," if you buy into his self deceptive accusations that unions are behind Occupy Wall Street, or that higher taxes penalize success, or that the wealthy are still job creators like they were to some degree in the past. Each point here is provably wrong, but who cares?

Even if the unions were originally behind the OWS protests, which they weren't, Bob Schieffer rightly asked Cain why that would be bad or anti-American. To Cain, and most conservatives, America is all about capitalism and not the people, their labor or their government. Its an endorsement of corporate royalty.

What's the difference? The picture at the right blatantly displays how corporate money sponsors tea party events. But if organized labor put up a similar sign, or is even suspected of backing an event...outrageous?



What's even more worrisome is Cain's ability to create reasons to justify his insane policies. That's what  Republicans call "leadership," and the rest of us call authoritarian.

Herman Cain sticks to mass brainwashing conspiracy, while middle class disappears and rich keep getting richer.

Odd, another Republican candidate for president who can't admit a mistake.

But authoritarians usually dismiss majority opinion as just plain wrong anyway. Leadership to them is imposing their minority viewpoint on a misguided public to stupid to understand them.

The public apparently can't make sound judgments of their own. These are the same people Republicans insist know what's best for their kids, yet for some reason, don't know what's best for their economic well being.

Everyone, even Republicans, have been brainwashed by the Democrats. Lawrence O'Donnell does a masterful job of allowing Cain to dig his hole even deeper. Cain never mentions that despite the calls by liberals (brainwashing) to tax the rich, just the opposite has happened over the last 15 years:

Herman Cain's "Plan 999 from Outer Space"

Comedian Lizz Winstead came up the title, and it describes the crazy Cain plan, a plan the conservative pundit elite consider a serious one. Which it is not.

The Plan 999 from Outer Space is filled with so many flaws, I couldn't help but correct a many of them by superimposing a few of my own questions over the video. These are basic observations, nothing tricky.

Cain on Hank Jr.'s Obama is Hitler comment: "He didn't call President Obama by name..." so what's the problem?

This amazing bit of Humpty Dumptyism by Herman Cain didn't get the kind of attention I think it should have gotten.

If Herman Cain can "parse" the words of Hank Williams Jr., think of what he'll do in the presidency. Seriously, would you trust anything he says? Lawrence O'Donnell:

A tax on Food? Cain's 9-9-9 tax plan ignores poor and jobless.

The Wall Street Journal uncovered, to their credit, the incredible weakness in Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan.

Although the media still hasn't asked Cain how his plan saves taxpayers money when they still have to pay into a privatized Social Security and Medicare plan, he was asked how a 9 percent consumption tax would effect the jobless. Cain's response:

"If they're not working they have a bigger problem than paying the tax on the national sales tax."

Tax on a tax? Cain's misstatement aside, he chooses to ignore the biggest flaw in his plan. Get a job and be rich seems to be his never-ending message in the new job trimmed economy:

Herman Cain Blames Americans for Wall Street Caused Austerity, while cluelessly promising a Fascist CEO administration if elected.

Herman Cain: "I don't have facts to back this up..."

If you're trying to convince people you'd make a good president, the above "qualifier" from Cain is a lousy way to instill confidence.

Not only does Cain suggest a conspiracy around the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations, he point blank gives a pass to the bloodletting of jobs caused by Wall Street, and blames the American public for getting run over by corporate greed.

Herman Cain: "Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks..."

Subtle? Cain is anything but, yet he still doesn't understand the middle classes desire to lead a comfortable life, without the dogged pursuit of incredible wealth.

Herman Cain: "If you don't have a job and your not rich, blame yourself." 

More unsettling when you consider the reason Americans are demonstrating on Wall Street and around the country, is Cain's promise:

Herman Cain: "Another thing you're going to see in a Herman Cain administration, you're going to see a lot of CEO's, ex-CEO's, business people and problem solvers.   

Was he defining fascism...on steroids? Any wonder why he's supported by the Republican Tea Party.
