McCain Speech Holds GOP Blameless for Disasters

On a night Barack Obama clinches the Democratic nomination and Hillary might have hinted at a possible next step, Sen. John McCain wedged his uncomfortable grin into the networks vote counting coverage. In the first 40 seconds of the video clip, McCain stiffly listed his own parties massive failures and disdain for responsible government, as if to suggest it wasn't really the Republicans fault but an incredible coincidence. Then out of nowhere he throws out at us this word puzzle, "We let history outrun our governments ability to keep up with it." Huh?

McCain then has the gall to complain about the corrupted, crony filled government agencies debilitating response to the Katrina disaster. McCain croons the old tune "you can't rely on government," followed by the conservative favorite, "Government doesn't trust Americans."

Spoiler Alert: The creepy laugh at the end may not be suitable for children.
