"As Goes Janesville" airs next Monday Night, Oct. 15.

WSJ: You've probably seen a clip from Brad Lichtenstein's documentary "As Goes Janesville," although you didn't realize it. That infamous clip of Gov. Scott Walker telling a well-heeled Republican supporter for his "divide and conquer" strategy of dealing with Wisconsin unions was captured by Lichtenstein's camera.

Monday is a big day for "As Goes Janesville." The film airs in Wisconsin and nationwide on public television as part of the Independent Lens series, airing on Wisconsin Public Television at 9 tonight.

  1. It aired tonight, Oct. 8!

I was riveted. The main characters were Sen. Tim Cullen, banker Mary Willmer Sheedy, and two former GM plant workers. Gov. Walker was in the film quite a lot too. I wonder what people outside of Janesville thought about it. No wonder Yuri Raskin is an activist; he had to stand alone against a proposal for the city to spend $70K per job to get a start up business to locate in Janesville.
