What's Next for Dumb Ron Johnson's "Victims of Medical Errors," "Victims of Insurers," "Victims of Wall Street...?"

Don't you love it when millionaire Senators tell us how terrible it is to depend on government, or even expect it to server the people.

Dumb Ron Johnson knows only one side of the argument, his. That's best demonstrated by his ill "Victims of Government" series of videos, where Johnson hosts his own "misery loves company" pity party. Our poor millionaires suffer so...

Victims of Private Enterprise: I hate to mention to Dumb Ron Johnson, but we could also fill a stadium with "victims of private enterprise" videos, starting with health care denials and extending to reactivated old unregulated quarries right next to peoples homes!

And if Johnson were honest, the "victims of government" series should include the Great Recession, caused by Republican deregulation of government. Small deregulated government, I would argue, is a whole lot worse than living with the volumes of rules protecting society in general from economic predators...like Wall Street banks.

Johnson's Circle of Influence: Johnson got into politics based on a comment from Fox News' "Romney's going to win" Dick Morris, who said ‘Hey, you know, Feingold is vulnerable. You know, if you’re a rich guy from Wisconsin, step up to the plate.’ What a call to duty and a true inspiration.

So it should come as no surprise that Johnson's "Victims of Government" idea sprung from the mind of right wing conspiracy theorist David Horowitz, who travels with an army of intimidating security guards for fear of assassination.
jsonline: He said Horowitz told him, "What the Republicans need if we're going to be successful in the information (battle) is to start putting up victims. That's what the left does, trotting out the victims that everybody feels sorry for." Johnson said that was an appropriate tactic, since "we're a compassionate society." With that in mind, he said, "We're trying to take a page out of their playbook."
That's some kind of cynicism.  Funny, representing citizens is a "tactic" Democrats use from some imagined "playbook." Is there anything Republicans don't corrupt or hate?
The first YouTube video, about an Iowa landowner's dispute with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has been viewed roughly 50,000 times.
The Iowa landowner essentially broke the law, ignoring rules and regulations. I'm supposed to feel sad about that. The government fell short in this case as well, so yes, the landowner and his neighbors were rightfully angry. But we have elected officials who's job it is to solve these problems. When they don't, they're voted out of office. Simple. When that doesn't happen, Ron Johnson has a victims story.

The solution is a responsive, accountable government. But that requires work, and our millionaire senators don't really want to do that anymore, because well, they're millionaires.

Johnson wants to wean people off their addiction to government, because he's a millionaire...through marriage. For dumb Ron Johnson, life is good, so what's wrong with everybody else?
Johnson said he rejects the idea that Victims of Government is anti-government. "I'm against large government. I'm not anti-government," Johnson said. "I would say the left has been pretty effective at addicting Americans to government. Americans are addicted. It's very difficult to wean people off of an addiction. The left is out there offering the American public 'candy.'"
