It's official, Wisconsin is moving away from science based environmental management to a faith based one.
And because today's DNR cuts don't save taxpayers any money, they did it for fun:
Cut the scientific staff by nearly one-third…cut 18 of 58
positions in the Bureau of Science Services — a reduction of 32%. Nine of the
targeted positions are paid with federal, not state, tax dollars. All
told, Walker's budget would delete 80 positions — or 3% of
2,642 DNR personnel.
