Heather sighs; please come to Racine, Ed Schultz!!!

I smiled when I came across this Caledonia Patch article by Heather Rayne Geyer. It's a warm and genuine heartfelt plea to get Ed Schultz into Racine. Check out her article here, and change.org petition here. I mean heck, how can you look into that face and say no....
Ed Schultz is planning a trip throughout Wisconsin before his final stop in Madison on the day of the recall election - June 5, 2012. We are urging Ed to stop in Racine, WI during his tour. Racine was instrumental in the recall with thousands of petition volunteers. We are a city which used to be a center for manufacturing. We have countless union members - both public and private - who are hard working Americans which have been vilified in the past year and a half.

We invite Ed to visit Racine, have a beer, some Kringle (of course) and maybe a fish fry!! Ed, you come and we will welcome you - blue carpet and all.

P.S. Racine TEA Party will be holding a rally June 2nd. I would LOVE to blow their numbers out of the water!!

  1. Everyone wants Ed. Racine would be a great place. If you listen to Sly in the Morning, there is great support for Ed to visit Sheboygan. I would prefer if Ed went up to Stevens Point.

Here in New Mexico, we are hearing that Scott Walker has a 94% approval rating. How can that be true? I know it is not true, but what is going on in other parts of the country that suggest Walker has a thumbs up, go ahead and win this recall?

  2. I've filled in for Sly, and it's great to have at least one local liberal radio voice in the state.

Ed's on another station here, so WTDY probably won't do a lot to promote Ed, but that doesn't mean many of us don't in some way support the national voice he's given our cause.

Walker would never have that kind of approval rating. More like 45- 50 percent. Sad isn't it?

    Nice to hear from you.
