Sen. Mike Lee of Utah is advocating, despite its reprehensibility, child labor and the states ability to allow its return. This is all part of the conservative drive to lower wages, do away with the minimum wage, and compete with developing countries. They call call it the free market. Capitalism.
When I run across stories like this, I can't help but wonder what conservative lawmakers are suggesting as a consequence; That Americans should be in a constant state of relocation, moving to states with laws they like, every time the political winds change?
