Is the Union Stiffing Jobless Teachers in Milwaukee, Refusing to Pay into Pensions?

Milwaukee Teachers are trying to make the union come to their senses, come back to the table and agree to contribute into their pension fund. It could save at least 200 of the 500 pink slipped teachers. Nearly every district in the state, except for Milwaukee, has done just that. I don't agree with what Walker has done to teacher pay and his vilification of them, but who needs another bad guy. This seems like the wrong battle to take on right now.

Why the union wouldn't go along with what has been adopted statewide, saving many of the states teachers jobs, is not good policy or great public relations.

Get back to the negotiating table and save some jobs. Fox 6:
