Everyone knows we can't drill our way out of high gas prices. It's an addiction Republicans were happy to ignore, and continue up untill now, as they tap into a desperate public looking for help.
Viveca Novak from Factcheck.org explains it simply enough for even conservative ideologues to understand. I know it's been in print for the last couple of weeks, but it's finally here on video for all to sit back and watch. You'll also see Obama's ad touting lots of money for R&D, and Novak tries to sound "fair" by saying it may not provide results. Oh sure, wasting money on research and developement to cure cancer may also be just as fruitless. Why try? But she did give both political sides some kind of criticism, even though it was obvious McCain lied and Obama didn't. Video from Upfront with Mike Gousha.
