While Scott Walker attacks the state employees ability to bargain, an admission Republicans don't have a better idea or argument at the negotiating table, conservative pundits are defending the action by saying this change does not affect the private sector. Another misdirection play.
Soon to follow, while the Republicans wield their one party authoritarian rule, is a "right to work" bill waiting in the wings. Right to work simply means conservative workers in the private sector will enjoy the benefits of an employee union without having to pay for it as a member. It also depletes the size of any given workplace group, reducing their ability to negotiate, and discouraging the formation of a union shop in the first place.
Right to work is next, and conservative pundits and talk hosts making the argument that Walker is only talking about state employees, is misleading and they know it.
