It seems a lot of people have it wrong about "clean" coal. PBS's Frontline special "Heat," did a segment on the industry prospective on myth and problems with clean coal "technology."
The first clue Americans should get is when no one will insure the safety of injecting CO2 into the ground. Too risky I guess. The same is true of nuke plants, where the public is asked to insure their safety, because private businesses think their too risky. Insuring homes in coastal hurricane country taps into the public pocket as well.
