Florida to Disney: You Must Have Guns In Your Parking Lots

The tables are turned now, the government is telling us we must have guns.

Verdict with Dan Abrams featured an interesting debate regarding the most idiotic bullying by the NRA, with a little help by the newly empowered GOP gunners, who are still celebrating the conservative activist Supreme Court Ruling. Not only do we have to worry about a plethora of challenges to common sense gun laws, but this might be the precursor to a new age of government mandated handguns for the unwilling public. Case in point, Walt Disney World:

MSNBC-A new Florida law permits workers to bring legal guns to work. Officials at Walt Disney World say they are exempt, and the NRA and some prominent Florida lawmakers are fighting back. Dan Abrams spoke to Rep. Stan Mayfield, who helped pass the law, and Brian Sievel of the Brady Center to prevent Gun Violence.

The logic of a car being described as an extension of your home is insanity. What will be the next extension; your brief case, Speed Racer lunch box, city bus to work or fishing boat?

Rep. Mayfield tries to minimize Florida's dangerously flawed permitting process by saying, "We can argue about the concealed weapons process, but the fact of the matter is, it raises the bar.

The point Brian Seibel from the Brady Center made was that legal guns are killing people too, not just illegal ones. If you weren’t sure these people were crazy before, Florida’s forced gun possession on Disney should open your eye’s.

Why would a bunch of sick insecure gun goons, who complained the government had no right to restrict their ability to own a gun, turn around and use the force of government to arm those who don’t want to be around them?

This was a deadly Supreme Court decision that will end up like all the other conservative ideas, with one important difference: It is now a permanent right in our Constitution, but it will be at the expense of peoples lives.
