HTRNews: The Republican governor visited Susie Altmayer School this morning to help teach fourth-graders about the ratification of the U.S. Constitution as part of a statewide education tour.
A gutsy move after being accused of violating the
constitution:
A Dane County judge ruled Friday that the controversial law, passed by the Republican-controlled Legislature in 2011, violates the schooland local employees’ constitutional rights to free speech, free association and equal representation.
For Walker, fighting to uphold constitutional rights has run
its course:
“I think for most people, they’re just happy to move on,” Walker said this morning. “I think most people want to get back to stability.”
Yea, we don't miss our Constitutional rights at all!
