Representative Chris Van Hollen states the obvious on Fox News Sunday about the sad state of the Republican Party. Van Hollen highlights how frantic the Republicans were to offer an immediate, no strings, no debate backed bail out plan for Wall Street bankers, while dragging their feet on a stimulus plan that would help the American public and their states from suffering massive layoffs and crippling deficits. And don't forget the auto maker concessions and wage controls that helped blue collar labor compete with foreign manufacturers, while complaining about government interference over CEO bonuses and pay.
It's a simple message. Repeat it often.
