PBS's To the Contrary took a look at Sarah Palin's comeback performance at the debates, and got this bizarre viewpoint from Tara Setmayer, communications Director for Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher.
Why Setmayer didn't get belly laughs from the other panelist, after suggesting the Drudge Poll had some credibility, is a mystery. Unless of course they were just stunned speechless.
One more thing:
Setmayer betrays what conservatives are really thinking. With statements like "she had a rough two weeks" and her handlers were "too controlling, too insulating" ignores Palin's mental readiness and replaces it with basically a run of bad luck.
For someone running for THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, how dangerous can it be for party members to say it was wrong to "put her out in area's she should not have been in, because no, she doesn't have the depth of knowledge that 35 year Senators do."
Thank you for making my argument for me.
