Former Oklahoma governor Frank Keating, a co-chair of Sen. John McCain's campaign, called Sen. Barack Obama "very extreme" on Dennis Miller’s radio show Thursday and raised the issue of Obama's drug use.
"He ought to admit, 'You know, I've got to be honest with you. I was a guy of the street'," Keating said. "'I was way to the left. I used cocaine. I voted liberally, but I'm back at the center.'"
Gee, not a bit of racism there. Why wouldn’t Obama say he was “a guy of the street,” you know, like in the inner city dealing drugs, rappin’ and bangin’ ho’s? They’re typically “way left” anyway, usin’ the cocaine and “voting liberally.” Hell, the kids are whining about getting their next fix now?
But Keating loves the private stuff, the sweaty details, and the throbbing secrets of our would be presidents.
In 1999, Keating was quick to weigh in on rumors about George W. Bush's alleged drug use as a young man. The former FBI agent told an interviewer that Bush should answer questions "about private conduct."
