McCain Lipstick Hucksters Winning Smear Campaign for President

What appeared to be an obvious ploy to distract attention away from the human toll of disastrous economic policies, has turned into a media play for viewers at the expense of real news coverage.

The news networks could have shot this down as outrageous drivel, but instead gave it credibility, with he said-she said BS that drives viewer numbers up.

Bottom line: This is THE test for the news networks. With this issue alone, we will either be watching the “fourth estate” crumble before our eyes, or say enough is enough by exposing this manufactured outrage.

What the Democrats should be asking news media sensationalists is why they are legitimizing this cynical gender exploitation. Why they allow themselves to get distracted so easily? If the media treated all these straw issues as trailer trash, we would see a dramatic change in campaigning. Here are some clips showcasing this bizarre dialog of distraction and inanity. Barack Obama does a great job of hitting back, but sadly, hitting back is not even close to a knockout punch.

The daily media agenda is now in the hands of the McCain campaign, and that won’t win this election for Obama.
