Tomah Guy wants to “take him out,” “take the shot” at usurper Obama, “CONSTITUTIONALY.”

Using every familiar talking point pushed by Republicans everywhere, a Tomah Wisconsin guy proudly declared he was going to take Obama out. The hate, racism and reality defying comments about Obama destroying the country and playing king gave us this guy, from Wisconsin...again. Hell, after polluting congress with Rep. Glenn Grothman and Paul Ryan, putting Reince Priebus in charge of the RNC, and now seeing the "divide and conquer" governor himself jump into the race for president, Wisconsin is on the leading edge of taking this country down for the count.

If it wasn't for the pride of racism surging in this country, the Tomah fanatic might not have said a thing to tip off authorities:
A warrant was issued for Brian Dutcher, 55, who was charged Thursday with making a threat to kill the president.

Dutcher approached a security guard at the La Crosse Public Library and said, “The usurper is here and if I get a chance I’ll take him out and I’ll take the shot” … he confirmed the statement and said he had made similar statements on his Facebook page … “That’s it! Thursday I will be in La Crosse. Hopefully I will get a clear shot at the pretend president. Killing him is our CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY!”

Dutcher told a La Crosse police his threat was serious and he would not have said what he said if he didn’t intend to carry it out … “I have been praying on going to D.C. for 3 months and now the upsurper is coming HERE … saving me a 800 mile trip … doing what I do for my daughter, so she can live free … pray for me to succeed in my mission … secret service is probably tracking my phone right now. I do not hide what I am doing, CONSTITUTIONALY.”

Rush and Hannity triggered talk radio listener McVay to Plot killing Obama.

Where would a conservative sociopath get the idea that Obama is a danger to our country? From two other conservative sociopaths, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, where else?

How much more proof is needed to make the case we’ve got a problem with racist talk radio hosts, who claim any such message, is “completely unintentional.”

But explain this one:

Accused killer James McVay told WKOW 27 News reporter Tony Galli during a jailhouse interview he intended to reach Washington, D.C. to try to carry out a plot to kill President Obama, with a plan to try to harm the president while he was on a golf course. "One of his favorite pastimes, golfing;   I was going to get him at the golf range,"   McVay told Galli. McVay cited Obama's economic policies and other moves as a basis for the assassination plot, but also said alien forces were using Obama as a "puppet."

McVay said during a period of solitary confinement in a South Dakota prison his feelings hardened against Biden and Obama as he listened to national talk radio shows hosted by Sean Hannity,  Rush Limbaugh and others.

Come on, they'll say, it's just show biz.

Surprisingly missing from McVay's daily listening regime were Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, Alan Colmes, Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes.....

Conservatives Wash Their Bloody Hands of Giffords Massacre. Move along now....

Below are different attempts to explain what happened to Rep. Gabby Giffords. The first is a montage of clips I put together showing the supposed "both sides do it" lie, and the fear mongering gun centric language used by conservatives of all stripes.

Newsy.com presents the media approach to the massacre, and its attempt to water down the blame. You be the judge...

Shocker!! NRA "Trigger the Vote" ad with Chuck Norris FUNNY!

Just so liberals weren't confused about the conservative assassination agenda to take back their country, the NRA humorously makes pulling the "trigger" fun, with a big fat target for a logo.

Gee, I wonder who they have in their sites?

GOP candidate Rick Scott for Florida Governor. You deserve him.

The Republican Party just nomimated for Florida governor Rick Scott, a guy who paid for and organized health care reform opposition tea party protests at town halls, because it threatened his private walk in health clinics for people who don't have insurance. Not only that, Scott incurred the largest Medicare fraud fine ever of $1.7 billion, when he headed up the Columbia/HCA hospital chain.

Now that's the kind of guy you want to take the reins over state government.

You Can't Argue with Mike Vanderboegh's Sick Mind.

While Rep. Eric Cantor tries to nuetralize the Democratic death threats vilifying his party, by suggesting "both sides" are threatened (the first time we're hearing about this new ploy, which took awhile to come up with a way to market), the real mindset continues to boil over on the right.

Alan Colmes interviews the crazy "break their windows" madman himself, Mike Vanderboegh. Not only does he take credit for the Democratic politicians vandalized offices, but he also claims that if the IRS can't collect the fine from you for not buying health insurance, they will kill you!

VANDERBOEGH: I am telling you we are motivated to break windows, we feel a deadly threat from the Federal government and the orders that the Democrat party has given us. [...]

COLMES: You’re telling people to break the windows of Democratic headquarters. You’re telling people to commit acts of vandalism. You’re supporting breaking the law.

VANDERBOEGH: May I tell you my personal motive for doing this? I’m trying to save the lives of Nancy Pelosi, and every one of these people who do not understand the unintended consequences of their actions. [...] Because they are not paying attention to the million of people across this deepening divide that politics no longer avails them. [...] We refuse to participate in the system, and we refuse to pay the fines, and we refuse arrest. Now where do you suppose that’s going but a thousand little Waco’s.

Vanderboegh is another conservative genius who knows just what the founding fathers were thinking. Colmes has the uncanny ability to get the most insane responses from his conservative guests without even trying. If you've wondered how "they" think, this scary look inside the thought process of the radical mind will chill you to the bone. Think for a moment after watching the video how you would reason with this sicko.

Here's Rachel Maddow on Vanderboegh and the other threats against Democrats.

Fear group "Oath Keepers" Preparing for Concentration Camps, Foreign Invasion and Losing Their Guns.

The Republican Party "of fear" has opened a can of worms they will never contain, and may even destroy or divide their party in half forever. For a party looking to get government out of our lives, little did they realize they were ginning up the anti-government libertarians who are frustrated with both parties. MSNBC's Chris Matthews shreds Oath Keepers' Stewart Rhodes, another crazy "constitutional lawyer" trying to set in stone their own wacky interpretation of our founding document.

Again, the Democrats need to get out there and defend against this right wing taking of America's constitution, the same way the GOP villified the meaning of the word liberal. Repetition works, and no one is stopping them this time either.

AZ Rep. Trent Franks on Obama: "...he is an enemy of humanity."

Painting with a broad brush, and getting the message across to the Republican base, Rep. Trent Franks contributes to the rage of the frenzied second amenders. Fanny the flames comes to mind.

What we're seeing again is a complacent media. They will watching passively until something serious happens, then say they regret missing the signals of the hard core right wing revolutionaries, never thinking anyone would do what they did.

"Obama's first act as president of any consequence, in the middle of a financial meltdown, was to send taxpayers' money overseas to pay for the killing of unborn children in other countries," said Frank. "Now, I got to tell you, if a president will do that, there's almost nothing that you should be surprised at after that.

We shouldn't be shocked that he does all these other insane things. A president that has lost his way that badly, that has no ability to see the image of God in these little fellow human beings, if he can't do that right, then he has no place in any station of government and we need to realize that he is an enemy of humanity."

Rep. Franks later clarified that he specifically targeting Obama's position on abortion.

Assassination Agenda: Facebook Poll Another "Subtle" Push for Action.

A poll was posted on Facebook asking users to vote "should Obama be killed?" The responses include: "yes," "maybe," "if he cuts my health care," and "no."

Bigmouth Media: The poll was disabled on Monday and results are not available, though according to Raw Story, as of midday on Monday, 90 per cent of respondents had voted "no," with a little over five per cent voting "yes," 2.6 per cent "maybe" and 1.9 voting that the President should die "if he cuts my health care."

Assassination Agenda: Kitty Werthmann on Commies, Nazis and Obama. The Message is Clear.

Nazi America: Obama appeased will not be tolerated.

Think Progress exposed this obvious attempt to promote their call for a death squad or lone assassin. Hyperbole? I don't think so.

"At the How To Take Back America Conference last weekend, conservative speaker Kitty Werthmann led a workshop called “How to recognize living under Nazis & Communists.”
Werthermann: "If we had our guns, we would have fought a bloody battle. So, keep your guns, and buy more guns, and buy ammunition. [...] Take back America. Don’t let them take the country into Socialism. And I refer again, Hitler’s party was National Socialism. [...] And that’s what we are having here right now, which is bordering on Marxism."

Assassination Agenda: The Very Public GOP Plan Continues...

In the opinion piece, "Republicans descend like fire ants on Obama," Bob Sandow neatly summerizes the run up to assassination. Remember, this whole movement is an unabashed public plan to motivate someone to kill.

"Did you ever notice how similar Republicans are to fire ants when dealing with a threat? They are fast, venomous and focused. For the GOP, President Obama is a big threat.

Calls for his failure were started by Rush Limbaugh ... Terms like socialism were tossed about ...health care ... Jim DeMint, said he would make this Obama's Waterloo - and destroy the threat. The organization of health care "protesters" included groups associated with terrorist Tim McVeigh (the Oklahoma City bomber) and people with guns and patriot tree blood quotes on T-shirts similar to the one McVeigh wore. "Death to Obama" signs popped up with racial slurs and claims of his Nazi affiliation.

There was no acknowledgement that socialism and Nazism are at opposite ends of the political spectrum. Fire ants are never confused with facts after all.

Things got worse with "death to Michelle" and death to "her 2 children" signs cropping up. In Idaho Obama (hunting) tags were considered, and elsewhere ministers ranted that they wished the hated Obama was dead.

Tossing out ideas like internment camps, death panels, health care rationing, and "Obamacare" further their effort with complete disregard of the truth. That the Republicans continued their attacks on Obama's school speech is a good indicator that the tenacious attacks will continue ...

Census Worker Hung, FED Written on His Chest.

UPDATED: 9/26/09-Here's the AP account from the man who discovered the census workers body:

Jerry Weaver of Fairfield, Ohio, told The Associated Press the man had been gagged and his hands and feet were bound with duct tape.

"The only thing he had on was a pair of socks," Weaver said. "And they had duct-taped his hands, his wrists. He had duct tape over his eyes, and they gagged him with a red rag or something."

The body was hanging from a tree with a rope around the neck, yet it was in contact with the ground. "And they even had duct tape around his neck," Weaver said. "And they had like his identification tag on his neck. They had it duct-taped to the side of his neck, on the right side, almost on his right shoulder." Sparkman's Census Bureau ID was found taped to his head and shoulder area.

The body was about 50 yards from a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck. He said Sparkman's clothes were in the bed of the truck."His tailgate was down," Weaver said. "I thought he could have been killed somewhere else and brought there and hanged up for display, or they actually could have killed him right there. It was a bad, bad scene.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow with AP guest, Delvin Barrett, with some of the late breaking details (8 pm Wed 9/23).

Details may change...I will post again when much more is known.

The Assassination Agenda: Concealed Carry Advocate Arrested for Trying to Slip by Capital Barricade Before Obama Speech.

Keep in mind, this guy did not have a weapon on him at the time, but he could have. If you think that might be a stretch, remember, we could have Obamacare death panels....

The Hill: A man with a shotgun was arrested on Wednesday night by U.S. Capitol Police while attempting to gain access to Capitol grounds as President Barack Obama began to deliver his speech to a joint session on healthcare.

Capitol Police stopped Joshua Bowman, 28, of Falls Church, Va. on Wednesday night several blocks away from the Capitol as he made a “failed attempt to gain access to [a Capitol]barricade,” a spokeswoman said.

After consenting to an administrative search of his vehicle, a shotgun in its case with ammunition was found in the vehicle’s trunk. He was transported to Capitol Police headquarters where he was processed and charged with carrying an unregistered firearm and possessing unregistered ammunition.

Right Wing Extremist Groups Reassure us They Can be Trusted, even with Guns.

It’s back. The right wing is back at denying Homeland Security’s report on right wing extremist groups. The crackpot group, Americans for Limited Government, appears in this Fox News piece about the “thin” evidence used to make such an outlandish acusation.

As if the Holocaust Memorial Museum and abortion doctor killing wasn’t enough, “researcher” Nathan Mehrens points a finger at liberals, because as you know, they can’t be trusted. It’s as simple as that. Watch Fox News make something out of nothing with the details of this “shocking revelation.”

Here’s the written version from Fox News:

Homeland Security Department's report on "right-wing extremist groups" sparked outrage and questions, especially the infamous footnote focusing on "groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration." The report found no specific information that domestic right-wing terrorists were planning acts of violence but warned that they may be gaining new recruits by playing on fears about the recession and the election of the first black president.

You might want to include health care reform in that list. But beside the obvious threats at McCain rallies, conservative politicians and pundits, what proof was there?

Shortly after its release in April, Americans for Limited Government filed a Freedom of Information Act request with Homeland Security, asking to see the supporting evidence for a report on "right-wing extremist groups."

"We expected to receive back some hard-core analysis, some data analysis, looking at crime statistics and current trends that would back up conclusions in the report," said Nathan Mehrens. "Instead what we got was a list of URLs to various Web sites, all kinds of news stories across the board.” The group dismisses the Web links to numerous media reports as nothing more than an afternoon of surfing the Web.

It would be crazy to pay attention to news reports in the liberal media and watch dog the internets, that new fangled technology that’s too complicated to get into here.

The assessment was launched under the Bush administration and completed by a career service employee within the department, not a political appointee of either former President Bush or President Obama. Shortly after the report's release, Secretary Janet Napolitano apologized repeatedly for any unintended offense. "I was briefed on it. I'm not running away from it," she said. "But I will say it was an assessment. It was not an accusation."

Try and convince me the crying, angry anti-government protesters at the Democratic town halls isn’t a red flag to be watched closely. If you’re wondering what makes them different from left wingers: They like guns and talk about using them all the time against the government.

Assassination Agenda: Kill Federal Judges- Talk Host Hal Turner

Finally, taking their cue from what is now the fringe Republican Party, cult followers of these lunatics are taking up arms to save America. It’s part of the now out of control assassination agenda. Homeland Security was right to put right wing extremists on the watch list, because now, that’s all that left of the GOP. From Think Progress.org:

FBI agents went to the New Jersey home of white supremacist blogger/radio host Hal Turner and arrested him “on a federal complaint filed in Chicago alleging that he made Internet postings threatening to assault and murderthree federal appeals court judges in Chicago in retaliation for their recent ruling upholding handgun bans in Chicago and a suburb,” according to a statement released by the Justice Department. A summary of Turner’s dangerous tirade against the judges:

Internet postings on June 2 and 3 proclaimed “outrage” over the handgun decision by Chief Judge Frank Easterbrook and Judges Richard Posner and William Bauer, of the Chicago-based 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, further stating, among other things: “Let me be the first to say this plainly: These Judges deserve to be killed.” The postings included photographs, phone numbers, work address and room numbers of these judges, along with a photo of the building in which they work and a map of its location.

Turner’s posts also “referred to the murder of the mother and husband of Chicago-based federal Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow in February 2005,” saying, “Apparently, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court didn’t get the hint after those killings. It appears another lesson is needed.”

In the Justice Department statement, U.S. attorney Patrick Fitzgerald — who announced the charges — said, “We take threats to federal judges very seriously. Period.”

Hey, Michael Savage is posting Media Matters staffers personal info online, in an attempt to do WHAT?

While Republicans worried that the fairness doctrine would destroy conservative talk, they never imagined losing their talk hosts to the comfort and safety of a jail cell.

Media Starting to Wake Up to Republican Radicalization. Welcome to Frank Gaffney & Jon Voight.

I've never understood how the major news networks, this includes MSNBC's Hardball, allowed a monster like Frank Gaffney on the air. I'm referring to Gaffney's hate mongering message and loco talk. And he worked in the Bush administration.

More surprising were the comments from actor Jon Voight. "We and we alone are the right frame of mind to free this nation from this Obama oppression...to bring an end to this false profit Obama."

He's not suggesting anything, is he?

Republican Assassination Agenda Continues: Doctors Targets of Terrorist acts.

I’m not advocating limiting anyone's free speech rights. But certain kinds of speech have resulted in people getting killed. We’re talking about groups that specifically insinuate, in their righteous opinion, someone is killing babies. It doesn’t take a genius to conclude the most effective way of stopping the “killings” would be the elimination of the doctors responsible.

It’s odd too that the press has bought into the wide eyed innocence of groups that just shrug their shoulders when something bad happens. Who honestly believes these anti-abortion groups sadly disapprove of murders that promotes their cause of getting rid of abortion doctors.

It’s domestic terrorism.

Isn’t it time we add these groups to the nation terrorist watch list? Isn’t the phrase “killing babies” code word for “kill the abortion doctors?” Of course. These groups have now been directly or indirectly identified as the backers of domestic terrorism. Their game plan has become more obvious and brazen, while their public statements have been noticably insincere. Thankfully, the new online press has started to write about the obvious:

Domestic Terrorism Strikes in the Assassination of Dr. George Tiller, by Michelle Kraus at the Huffington Post.

It is an act of domestic terrorism at its worst. Gunned down at his peaceful place of worship in Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Tiller was targeted as he served as an usher in church and his wife sang in the choir. Eight years of the provocation of the religious right have come home at a great cost to this country. Stirred up and fueled by the hysterical voices of those like Rush Limbaugh, fear and paranoia continue to reign as evidenced in this assassination.

Christian Fundamentalist Terrorism, By Shannyn Moore at the Huffington Post.

… it's time to start calling it what it is. When Jim D. Adkisson walked into the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church with 76 rounds and a shot-gun, he killed 2 people and was charged with murder. His motive was "he hated the liberal movement" and was upset with "liberals in general as well as gays." He should have been charged with terrorism.Today George Tiller, a Wichita doctor, was killed INSIDE the lobby of his Wichita church. Reformation Lutheran Church became a crime scene; fundamentalist terrorism.

No Mercy, by Mary Mapes of the Huffington Post.

I felt just sick today when I saw the bulletin about the murder of Dr. George Tiller. Sicker still when I saw the "sympathy" letter issued by officials at Operation Rescue, the virulent anti-abortion organization that dogged this poor man for the past two decades. The statement said, "We pray for Mr. Tiller's family."

Operation Rescue forged an unholy alliance of sexually repressed super Christians, men who hate women and women who hate themselves and turned them into a supercharged army of bullies for Jesus. Tiller's clients often included couples who had been hoping to become parents but had their hearts broken late in pregnancy when they received horrifying medical news about their much-wanted babies. These people got no mercy from Operation Rescue. They were hounded and harassed, shoved and shouted at on the most heart-breaking day of their lives.

And now, finally, after all the heavy breathing about heaven and God, evil and innocence, Operation Rescue by all appearances has goaded someone into killing George Tiller. This is terrorism. And if we believe this is terrorism, we need to act like it's terrorism.

No Mercy, by Cristina Page, author of How the Pro-Choice Movement Saved America wrote:

During the Clinton era, between 1994-2000 there were 6 abortion providers and clinic staff murdered, and 17 attempted murders of abortion providers. There were 12 bombings or arsons during the Clinton years. During the Bush administration, not only were there no murders, there were no attempted murders. There was one clinic bombing during the Bush years.

One can only conclude that like terrorist sleeper cells, these extremists have now been set in motion. Indeed the evidence is already there. The chatter, the threats, the hate-filled rhetoric are abundant. In the last year of the Bush administration there were 396 harassing calls to abortion clinics. In just the first four months of the Obama administration that number has jumped to 1401.

And so the execution of Tiller, 67, is not only tragic but ominous. Eleanor Bader, co-author of Targets of Hatred: Anti-Abortion Terrorism, in an article in March for RHRealityCheck.org about clinics bracing for an uptick in violence after the election of Obama wrote, "immediately after Obama's election, Douglas Johnson, Legislative Director of the National Right to Life Committee, called him a "hardcore pro-abortion president." The American Life League dubbed him "one of the most radical pro-abortion politicians ever," and Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life warned that Obama will "force Americans to pay for the killing of innocents." Americans United for Life, the Family Research Council and Operation Save America quickly joined the chorus."

The Republican Assassination Agenda: Machine Gun Shoot T-Shirt In Kentucky

Just another scary example of a radicalized political party completely out of control. Think Progress reports:

The Washington Independent’s Dave Weigel went to the bi-annual Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot in Kentucky and saw this phenomenon first-hand: Weigel noted that all three boxes of the Hitler-Obama shirt had sold out by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

In November, ThinkProgress went to The Nation’s Gun Show in Chantilly, VA, which featured similar fear-mongering. For example, an ad in the Washington Post for the event read, “GET YOUR GUNS WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!”
