What is "the liberal media?" Does it lack the propagandized right wing spin necessary to bring about a nationalized one party authority? Is it whatever someone says it is?
With reliable right wing conservative media outlets like Fox News, Breitbart, NewsMax, Newsbusters, Wall Street Journal, World Net Daily, The Blaze, Drudge Report, Daily Caller, Townhall, National Review, Real Clear Politics, Hot Air, Weekly Standard, Chicks on the Right, Red State, Powerline, Louder with Crowder, American Spectator...it seems odd, even petty, that the great tea party Republican defenders of our Constitution would allow anyone to attack someone else's free speech....
Isn't it time to cleanse America of this cancerous liberal media using the First Amendment to destroy our country?

Republican move to punish and censor the opposition is catching on!
The no compromise juvenile bullying
by the Tea Party Republicans is oddly gaining acceptance. That can't be good.
These dominant authoritarians are now targeting for removal once and for all,
the press, the constitutionally protected Fourth Estate. Cafeteria constitutionalist like only parts of the First Amendment.
RNC Blackmail gets NBC Approval: NBC responded to RNC chair Reince
Priebus’ suspension of network debates with this acquiescence. Instead of being insulted and telling him to take his threats elsewhere...:
NBC News called the RNC's decision "disappointing. However, along with our debate broadcast partners at Telemundo we will work in good faith to resolve this matter with the Republican Party."
Going after Reporters: Republicans aren’t stopping there either, taking note of
this emerging story of phony outrage:
What we found out was Fox News asked similar, more insulting questions but got no blowback. Here's just one example. Washington Post:In the wake of the debate debacle that’s delivered a gut punch to CNBC, many staffers at the business network are divided over whether “extremely biased” and “far left” correspondent and moderator John Harwood should have been allowed on stage. Harwood is “not just extremely biased and partisan, but he’s the worst kind who isn’t self-aware that he is,” the insider continued. “Blindness to that is what allowed him on the debate stage.”
And there’s no better example of the moderators looking to pit one Republican against another Republican than this one: “Mr. Trump, it has not escaped anybody’s notice that you say that the Mexican government, the Mexican government is sending criminals — rapists, drug dealers, across the border. Gov. Bush has called those remarks, quote, ‘extraordinarily ugly,’ I’d like you — you’re right next to him — tell us — talk to him directly and say how you respond to that…Why not use this…debate to share your proof with the American people?”
That example of malicious, divisive debate moderation comes from the Aug. 6 clash at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, which was hosted by Fox News and was greeted as a universal success. It’s not from last night’s Republican debate in Boulder, Colo., which was hosted by CNBC to nearly unanimous negative reviews.
For now, CNBC is publically defending Harwood against
these attacks:
CNBC defended Harwood to TheWrap, saying he should be “applauded.” “Journalists who ask Presidential candidates substantive, challenging questions on interest rates, social security, the debt limit, student loans and taxes to name a few, should be applauded.”
Remember when Republicans wanted former CNN reporter and host Candy Crowley fired for correcting Mitt Rommey, when he said Obama didn't say the Benghazi attack was an act of terrorism for two weeks, when he actually did the first day?
Or how about the media black out by tea party candidates who tried to hide their lack of ideas and lunatic agenda by vilifying the media, and then going out instead to overtly friendly conservative talk radio and television outlets?

Conservative Media ignores Liberal outlets to the detriment of their audience.
A quick note; conservative media of all kinds has become so isolated and insulated from reality, that their blackout of liberal media mentions and references cuts off their audiences access to alternative viewpoints.
Their audience is unaware of the facts and failures of their party's positions, not to mention the eventual out-of-pocket costs of those policies. Things keep getting worse for them, just like their media con men have promised, even though it's their parties rigid and deceptive idea's that are at fault.

Conservative Talk Radio in Wisconsin Paints Dire Economic Picture Resembling nothing in the Real World.
Having been in radio for over 27 years, I can tell you quite
honestly conservative talk radio’s massive monopoly nationwide, is a major
factor behind the greatly misinformed conservative voter. Conservative talk shows are easy to find, and via syndication, absolutely blankets the country. Liberal talk formats are growing, but nothing close to
the coverage in rural areas.
In a recent article by Craig Gilbert, he ponders the changing
perspective on the economy by liberals and conservatives. It seems economic perceptions are reversing. But Gilbert never mentioned this reason why; conservative radio
propaganda.
Jsonline: It seems like only yesterday that Democrats thought Wisconsin’s economy was tanking and Republicans were declaring a new dawn of prosperity. That was during last spring’s recall fight, when a GOP governor was on the ballot. Today, the economy hasn’t changed much, but the politics has. Now it’s a Democratic president on the ballot, and the parties have done a role reversal: Democrats think we’re on the road to recovery and Republicans think the sky is falling.
Why is the partisan perception gap so much bigger today than it was four months ago? Here’s a theory: back in May, voters in each party were conflicted. Republican voters were hearing their governor talk up the economy and their presidential candidates talk down the economy. The gap started when Obama took office and is now bigger than at any time in his presidency, with four times as many Republicans as Democrats reporting bad news.
The reason Republicans voters think the economy is tanking
is because of what they hear on talk radio. The graphs in Gilbert's article easily explains who's listening to conservative talk, and who isn't:
Even though the major news outlets have been reporting on the slowly improving economy, talk radio has been describing it as “on the brink,” “the end of America as
we know it,” and “we’re worse off now than four years ago.” It’s
not true, but that’s the shrill sound on the right.
Paul Ryan perpetuated the fiction of "media bias," without offering one example, on Fox News Sunday:
Ryan also accused the media of having a liberal disposition: “I think it kind of goes without saying that there's definitely a media bias. We've - look, I'm a conservative person, I'm used to media bias. We expected media bias going into this,” said Ryan.
Asked to cite a specific example of media bias, Ryan demurred, instead asserting that most people who work in the media have liberal political affiliations and, therefore, would want a president who is a Democrat to win. “I'm not going to go into a tit-for-tat or litigate this thing,” said Ryan. “But as a conservative, I've long believed and long felt that there is inherent media bias. And I think anybody with objectivity would believe that that's the case.”
The soft squishy coverage from the major news networks is nothing
when you compared it to conservative talk radio’s 90 percent dominance nationwide. Even then, the networks lean conservative simply by never question the factually conflicted rhetoric of our Republican politicians.

Major Conservative Radio Celebrities say differing News Coverage "Offends," is Rigging Election.
Have you ever noticed how talk radio is almost always
conservative? Except in just a few major metro area’s, conservative talk is all you hear.
The same can be said of the dominating influence of the Fox News Network and the Wall Street
Journal. In liberal Madison, Wisconsin, our only daily paper is conservative. The editorial board at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is wildly conservative. Even corporate news outlets like NBC, CBS, ABC only offer
what can be best describes as watered down, both side do drivel every night.
But such media domination isn’t enough. Introducing the next manufactured outrage just in time for the elections: The “leftist agenda!” Don't fall for the "out of control" bias, the rigging of elections, breaching the public trust, and shamefully smearing Mitt
Romney.
The media should stop repeating Mitt's comments and policy statements.
Instead, they should jump on the next phony issue or manufactured outrage, like below.
Washington Examiner: More than 20 conservative leaders and media figures including Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, and Mark Levin, on Tuesday accused ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN today of rigging coverage to help reelect President Obama.
We'd like a one party authoritarian state!
"This election year, so much of the broadcast networks, their cable counterparts, and the major establishment print media are out of control with a deliberate and unmistakable leftist agenda. To put it bluntly: you are rigging this election and taking sides in order to pre-determine the outcome," they said in a letter to the networks that was organized by the conservative media watchdog Media Research Center. "You have breached the public trust by willfully turning a blind eye to the government's public policy failures, both domestic and foreign, while openly and shamefully smearing Gov. Mitt Romney," said the letter signed by MRC President Brent Bozell and the others.
If that wasn’t pathetic enough, these right wing corporate
media whores actually want you to stop listening to everyone else. Yes, they’re really
saying that:
"It is time the American people turn you who are offending off, once and for all. You have betrayed their trust," they added.Information does have a way of "offending" some people. We now know who they are in the list above.

Conservative Radio Talk Show Hosts Complain No Liberal Guests at DNC.
The National Review had the balls to whine and complain about getting "shut out," blocked from getting Democratic politicians for interviews on "Radio Row" during the convention.
Really?
That's odd, because they're okay with shutting out Democrats on their local radio programs...look who's got a problem with the "thought police."

The Public Airwaves and Private Censorship
Via Cognitive Dissidence from the DailyKos, I thought this hit the right note about talk radio. Having been in it myself, for the last 10 years of my 25 year career, this issue has been allowed fade from the discussion. Conservative talk radio is taking my part of the public airwaves and squeezing out my share and my voice (in general). The following says it all for me:
But broadcasting, local radio and TV, is a public/private partnership: the public owns the airwaves needed for transmission; private business own the buildings, equipment, etc. needed to broadcast programming. When private business goes into broadcasting, it makes a deal with the public: a free license from the Federal Communication Commission - if it agrees to "serve the public interest, convenience, and necessity." Physical scarcity is the foundation of all broadcast law.
Then there's the concept of "private censorship." Because of the physical scarcity of frequencies, the Courts say big corporations who are licensed to broadcast over our airwaves have no right to prevent people of the community access to being heard on the radio. in the 60 days prior to an election, if broadcasters sell or give time to one major political party candidate or its supporters, they must, by law, offer comparable time to the opposing major political party candidate or its supporters. (See Section 315a of the Communications Act and the Zapple Doctrine.)
The Media Action Center has been monitoring talk radio stations owned by Clear Channel and Journal Communications in Milwaukee since May 9th, the first day of the Walker/Barrett campaign in Wisconsin. We will release detailed results of that monitoring May 22nd, but suffice it to say that supporters of one major political party are getting short shrift, and they have been complaining to the Talk stations demanding equal time, and they will soon be complaining – loudly – to the Federal Communications Commission to immediately enforce comparable time laws under Zapple. (The FCC is the law enforcement agency on broadcasting issues.)
But those Talk Radio giants are also violating the First Amendment rights of supporters of candidates whom they are not allowed to be heard in the midst of the election. "Private censorship" comes down to a matter of access, says the Supreme Court of the United States. In 2011, Clear Channel lawyers argued that given the internet, the concept of physical scarcity was no longer needed. TheU.S.Third Circuit Court of Appeals shot them down: "The abundance of non-broadcast media does not render the broadcast spectrum any less scarce. The Supreme Court's justification for the scarcity doctrine remains as true today as it was in 2004...
The imbalance we are seeing on the publicly owned airwaves in Milwaukee and Sacramento and elsewhere proves that broadcasters are stamping out the First Amendment rights of liberals and the rest of us, not the other way around, as right wing talkers in every corner of the country would have us believe. Yes, it is censorship for the government to tell hosts what they may or may not say. But when Clear Channel and other radio license holders put one political point of view on our public airwaves to the exclusion of all others, that is private censorship, and lucky for us and the people of Wisconsin, in the 60 days before an an election, that is illegal.
