The Job creation mill that is the Republican Party. Can't they get a Real Job?

For a party claiming to hate government, it seems like everything they ends up latching onto government politicians, sharing power.

Hell, I've noticed this for years. The no-talent conservative radio talkers I heard didn't have to know much, they just had to be Republican, it was that easy.

But lately? Wow, it's insane how many freeloader like jobs are suddenly created by former cronies.

Former Walker cronies gave Scottie a big money funded political influence peddling job, so he doesn't have to work. Hey, how about a cruise...:

The Job creating Lawsuit mill Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty latches onto Republican Party Money: I posted this recently:
WILL's Conservative Lobbyists-the Final Corruption of our Legal System: Adding to the public's dislike and skepticism of the their own government, WILL is providing that final nail in the coffin of this great experiment:
Cap Times: For the first time in WILL’s existence, four of its employees registered earlier this year with the state’s ethics commission to lobby in the state Capitol.
Just a Game: Love the "high-caliber attorneys" playing to win:
WILL executive vice president CJ Szafir said “What we’re trying to do is put together a team, maybe like the Golden State Warriors of the conservative movement, which is filled with high-caliber attorneys, communicators and policy analysts that are going to fight for (our) principles.”
Small Government?
Why is this man teaching yet?
Conservative lawyer Rick Esenberg ... saw a need ... and With the help of a $500,000 grant from the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, WILL launched as a law firm ... The organization now includes 18 attorneys, researchers, writers and other staff, plus two contracted advisers. Its revenues peaked in 2015, at $3 million.
WILL ... plans to double size of the organization in the next five years. “In order to do that, we need to reach out to high-wealth individuals, business executives and ideologically motivated people who share our beliefs and values, to talk about the program and what we’re trying to do,” said Jim Pugh, who joined WILL as vice president of development.

Kevin Nicholson creates Political Job for Himself, latches onto Government Power Leaders: Nicholson failed in his primary bid to take on Sen. Tammy Baldwin, so this is a logical next step. Don't laugh, this is sadly real:

Nicholson has spent the last few months speaking at Republican caucuses and Lincoln-Reagan Day dinners and appeared at the recent state GOP convention.

Now, he's forming a nonprofit organization, "No Better Friend Corp." a 501(c)4 advocacy group to promote conservative public policy solutions. "On a personal level, I'll do what I can to help the president win re-election 2020."

Candidate Nicholson trashes parents for maxing out donations to Tammy Baldwin!

Free speech and the First Amendment has been weaponized by the Trump Party. Not only is it being used to spread bigotted racist hate speech, but it's also been transformed from the traditional verbal/written speech into money.

There are even different rules for Democrats, who should not be allowed to spend money on campaigns because they're doing it for all the wrong reasons...it's right there in the originalist reading of the First Amendment I think.

Democratic voter spending "Represents Intolerance:" Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson blasted his own parent's free speech right, describing their support and donations to Sen. Tammy Baldwin as a “representation of the intolerance” in the Democratic Party...all because they gave the max amount? Don't tell Koch's or Adelson:
The Hill: Wisconsin GOP Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson slammed his own parents for making the “maximum contribution” of $2,700 to his Democratic opponent in a fiery editorial published by Fox News on Monday ... accused his parents ...
“My parents have since turned their back on me, my wife, their grandchildren, and their extended family,” Nicholson wrote in the editorial. He pointed to his parents' donation as a “representation of the intolerance” in the Democratic Party.
“Adding to this, they decided to make the maximum contribution to my Democrat opponent in my campaign for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin, an intentional personal blow that made headlines across the country. It was deliberate – and it is a true representation of the intolerance of a political philosophy that stands on the false platform of tolerance.”

Wisconsin Republicans embrace Walker's kind of "optimistic vision for the future?"

Scott Walker decided to present his "optimistic vision" of the state with a few recent tweets trashing policy criticisms on the "anger and hate" filled "liberal Far left:"

So let's take a look at the what Walker calls an "optimistic vision for the future," along with a few other examples that are anything but.

Vukmir's "Positively" Blatant Lies: When you can't find much in Sen. Tammy Baldwin's hate-and-anger filled record to criticize, State Sen. Leah Vukmir came up with this positive whopper:

...or this positive swing and a miss...

...or "outsider" and challenger Kevin Nicholson's positive view of Democratic veterans...:
The Democrat Party has wholesale rejected the Constitution and the values that it was founded upon. So I'll tell you what: Those veterans that are out there in the Democrat party, I question their, their cognitive thought process. Because the bottom line is, they're signing up to defend the Constitution that their party is continually dragging through the mud."
...or Wisconsin's own retiring Paul Ryan, whose vision of the future does not include tackling the problem of mass shootings in our schools:

Dumb Ron Johnson's Positive Vision of the Future sees "families, renewed faith" as the solution to mass shootings in schools: Hey, it might take awhile - a half-century or so - but cultural norms might "likely" change?

(On) gun control, in the wake of the high school shooting in Texas that left 10 dead and 10 injured ... Johnson said federal legislation is not the answer, because gun violence is a bigger cultural issue.

"Solutions that will have some impact are going to more likely come from families, renewed faith, communities, from states than anything the federal government's going to pass."

Nicholson explains: Serving country is "something conservative," "battlefields in Iraq" prepared him for Main Street America?

I never fully understood why "veterans" were the exclusive property of the Republican Party.

This is part of a debate I've had for years when I did talk radio. Some did not agree with my point of view.

Were veterans Republicans because they carried firearms or came across as extremely patriotic? And why do people always thank them for their service, but don't thank those truly hard-working Americans supporting our economy and raising families? The military is simply a career choice like anything else. It doesn't immediately make someone a hero.

The Conservative Veteran Myth...Explodes: Let's give a big thank you to absolutist thinker and Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson for exposing the ugly thinking behind "veterans are always great Republicans." It continues the theme that Democrats are terrorists, enemies working within the country that must be stopped, whether you like GOP policies or not:
JS: Nicholson has made his U.S. Marine service a centerpiece in his (campaign) ... during a Steve Scaffidi of WTMJ-AM (620) radio interview Nicholson took a shot at military veterans who are Democrats, questioning their "cognitive thought process." Nicholson said...
"And just because some people that don't call themselves conservatives and don't always act conservative do something conservative, like, let's talk about John Kerry — and signed up to serve this country. That doesn't mean that that's not a conservative thing to fundamentally protect and defend the Constitution.

Because I'll tell you, the Democrat Party has wholesale rejected the Constitution and the values that it was founded upon. So I'll tell you what: Those veterans that are out there in the Democrat party, I question their, their cognitive thought process. Because the bottom line is, they're signing up to defend the Constitution that their party is continually dragging through the mud."
The blowback was immediate. Even Nicholson's slogan, "Send in the Marine" suggests it's time for military-like action to take back the country, stop those Democrats. Arrogance like this does have its plus side. But Republicans, believe it or not, have even politicized the backlash, proving they really don't mean it:
A defiant Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Wisconsin who is a former Marine refused to apologize Thursday amid a growing bipartisan backlash...Nine Republican veterans, all of whom support (his opponant) Vukmir, called on Kevin Nicholson to apologize ...

The Vukmir-supporting veterans ... said not even Democratic Sen. John Kerry, of Massachusetts, “used his military experience as an excuse for far-left positions on abortion, taxes, and immigration.”
Nicholson is now enjoying the backlash and free publicity:
“I’ll never apologize for saying that, ever,” Nicholson said.
Yet Nicholson thinks his experiences "on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan" has readied him for battlefields in...Wisconsin?

Swing-and-a-miss response from Dumb Ron Johnson: The media decided to toss a softball question to Johnson over Nicholson's bizarre statements. Wow, hate to endanger a Senate seat:
Johnson said, “I’ll let the voters make their own judgment.”
Democratic Veterans Respond:
Crystal Banse, a Democrat, and attorney who served six years in the Wisconsin U.S. Army National Guard, including three years of active duty and rose to captain. said she was offended by Nicholson's remarks.
"To me, the Constitution does not have a partisan slant. The military is a microcosm of our society. I served next to people of all genders, races, sexual orientations, conservatives, liberals, independents. Your role in the military is to defend people's ability to have different political views. It's all about freedom of speech and protecting our Constitution. Politics has no place in that."
Tom Palzewicz, a U.S. Navy veteran and Democrat from Brookfield seeking to challenge U.S. Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner in the fall, took issue with Nicholson's comment.
"It’s simply un-American to suggest that patriotism is partisan. For almost every member of the Armed Forces, for veterans, for military families, country comes before party, but apparently not for Kevin Nicholson. He should be ashamed."

Kevin Nicholson not contacting Parents anymore..."their decision?"

Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson was trained to be a "weapon" and rifleman when he served in the Marines. That fighting mentality changed Nicholson's ideological world view, from Democrat to Republican. Once a Marine, always a Marine, and that's why he's more qualified than Sen. Tammy Baldwin.

My dad was a decorated Marine and survived a round through his chest. I don't remember him saying he was better or more qualified then any other American. That's why I'm skeptical of anyone who brags about serving in the armed forces, expecting a whole bunch of hero worship, and suggesting they're so much better. That's Nicholson. VoteVets wants you to know...

Nicholson Divides Family over Trumpism: After the news hit the fan about Nicholson's parents donating lots of money to his opponent Senator Tammy Baldwin, Nicholson showed his true colors in a Fox News interview that was not just sad, but revealing; his politics resulted a family split with his liberal parents. It's pretty bad when your own parents can't talk to you anymore. Even worse, Nicholson makes no mention of his parents or childhood at his campaign site.

As he tells it, Kevin Nicholson wife, kids and that Marine Corps experience that ripped away his "illusions," made him a better parent than his own mother and father. Even the Fox host stepped in defending his family, reminding Kevin that they also had life experiences that made them who they are...Democrats. Nicholson's words of wisdom and advice to becoming a Republican?
Nicholson: "If you want to have your illusions ripped away, as a young person, go to war, and you're going to learn a lot about yourself, and you'll learn a lot about the world."
Too bad Donna and Michael Nicholson, who continue to wallow in their world of illusion, missed out on so much. That goes for most of us.

Millionaire donor Richard Uihlein, the founder of Uline Corp. backing Breitbart's Steve Bannon GOP candidates Nicholson and Roy Moore!

It's the Republican ideology that oddly controls the parties miserable and whiny "left behind" constituents, as they happily vote against their own self-interest. But for the millionaire and billionaire donor class, that ideology serves their best interests...and bottom lines of course.

It's the party that doesn't even blink at the prospect of electing child predator judge Roy Moore to the U.S. Senate. Republican voters won't have a problem voting for Trumpian drone Kevin Nicholson either since he's getting big money from the same millionaire/billionaire donors stuffing Moore's campaign coffers.  Kevin is hanging with the alt-right crowd:

Moore and Nicholson are Richard and Liz Uihlein's kind of candidates, founders of the Uline Corp. Kevin Nicholson may have asked Moore to step aside, but he knows that ain't going to happen.

The whiny Uihlein's know this, and put their faith, ideology, and money on these extremist peas in a pod.

Even more surprising, Uline President Liz Uihlein isn't fazed by Moore's position on women. She's okay with this...seriously, you can't make this stuff up:
Moore co-authored a 2011 study course in which a speaker contended women should not be allowed to run for public office and, if they did, people have a moral obligation not to vote for them.

The study set was a product of Vision Forum, a Texas-based evangelical group led by Doug Phillips ... in a series of courses designed to teach public policy and ethics to its attendees. Vision Forum closed in 2013 after Phillips resignation following his admission of an extra-marital relationship. The woman in the relationship, Lourdes Torres-Manteufel, later sued Phillips and Vision Forum in connection to a relationship that she said began when she was 15.
The Whiny Uihlein's not Happy with Being Rich: The Uline Corporation has been waiting for years to see Amazon's Jeff Bazos tank the company. They say Amazon can't survive since they don't make a profit. That's not true though, since 2015:
Amazon.com Inc. was known for years as the company with huge revenue growth that would spend too much to be profitable. That reputation can now be forever put to rest. The e-commerce giant reported its fourth consecutive quarter of profitability...nearly $1.2 billion in that time period.
Whine, whine, whine: You'd think with their money and success in the packaging supplies business, the Uihlein's would have taken the high road. Nope. Uline President Liz Uihlein made "fear Amazon" the company statement on their website, believe it or not:

Since the 2009-10 election cycle, the Uihleins have contributed more than $26 million to Republican and conservative federal candidates, political party committees, political action committees (PACs) and an outside electioneering groupthe Ed Uihlein Family Foundation, which contributed nearly $35 million between 2007 and 2014 to civic, religious, and conservative groups, including the Heritage Foundation, Americans for Prosperity Foundation, Federalist Society, and the Illinois Policy Institute.

The top state recipients of Uihlein contributions between January 2010 and December 2015 were:
Walker’s campaign for governor, $284,500;
Republican Party of Wisconsin, $220,000;
Prosser Victory Recount Found, $50,000;
GOP Sen. Van Wanggaard, of Racine, $21,000;
Republican Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, $17,700.
